On some level from the teams perspective it would make most sense to sign him early in the offseason/preseason and let him study the playbook, be around Brady for film study while he is rebuilding his leg so he can hit the ground running when he is ready to play again midseason. But that might not be in his interest in terms of financials and leverage.
Yeldon is very intriguing.
I am all -in on Yeldon.
DT...meh.
I guess I'm not against it. Im just very skeptical of his ability to make a difference. Veterans have a better chance of contributing sooner rather than later there and he qualifies. However those with an injury history are certainly riskier. I still want them to draft a WR but not burn one of their top 6 picks on one.I am going out on a limb and saying the Pats will sign DT, as long as his achilles checks out. They tried to trade for him last year so there is definitely interest on Bill’s part.
Thomas was one of my biggest draft day heartbreaks when McDaniels took him ahead of the Patriots. We were left with some scrub named McCourty instead. I guess it worked out okay. If he's healthy at some point in this season, I would love to finally see him here, although last year's draft binky of yore (Clayborn) didn't exactly set the world on fire.
Doubtful they’d be able to trade up high enough to get Hockenson. It would cost our first and likely both seconds.I like filling holes with Yeldon and Thomas allowing us to select BPA or if we really our interested in a trade up for Hock or dealing 32 for Rosen.
I bet Thomas signs and is our retires in camp vet that Nelson was supposed to be.
Edelman-Thomas-Dorsett-Rookie WR-Rookie TE/ASJ is not bad - could be better but not bad

So long as they stay injury free. An injury to Edelman could be disastrous.
Also don’t forget Gordon hopefully at some stage.
Yeldon has soft hands. Perfect RB2 here.Yeldon is a BIG back who’s actually a really good pass catcher. Maybe you give him some carries to keep Michel and Burkhead fresh, and then possibly some H back duties (due to his receiving) and goal line (due to his size) opportunities. I wouldn’t be against the signing.
Looks like there is no interest in bringing Jeremy Hill back. Due to Michel’s and Burkhead’s injury histories, I would like this signing if it happens. An interesting weapon.

I view White as more of a pass catching RB and not a between the tackles "runner" per se.What about White?
