With the contract Flowers got, I think the Pats are better off without him. As we've seen many times before, there may be a minor adjustment period before we eventually forget about him. I'd rather use the money on guys like Michael Bennett and other mid tier veterans eager for a ring. Maybe they bring in Suh or Houston.

First it was the avocado cupcakes Brady sent to welcome him to the team. Then it was the chocolate cake with avocado icing for his birthday. It was the last straw for Flowers when Brady showed up to his home after the Super Bowl with an offer for a free trip to California to take a tour of an avocado farm. Flowers lost it and signed with the Lions to get away.
