Talk about unprofessional. 2nd time he's gone live w private stuff. Imagine having a groupie friend announce to your new fan base where you're going.

Raiders didn't want to pay Mack but are trading for a 30+ WR making 15m+.

Honestly can't make this sh it up.

Black and gray?
Someone needs to tell them it’s silver and black.

30/24 is not 2.

But brown is twice as good
I feel Brown may be twice as good with the right QB. He may be this QB’s unraveling. Getting a Good player does not always become the Right Player. Bad match in my opinion

Cooper certainly wasn’t a good one.
Not sure why adding a better wr hurts.

I am talking from a fit standpoint. Carr is mentally fragile to say the least. Been known to not take to hard coaching and of course CryGate. When you have this better receiver constantly barking in his ear, I think that is a horrible fit.

I wouldn’t begin to assess the personality of Derek Carr having never met him.
I am pretty sure if you give him a wr who gets open a lot he will be a better qb though.
Again not sure how it could be a worse fit than cooper, who we are comparing it to.

The Steelers brass has another all-nighter planned. They’ll be regaling potential suitors with tales of Brown’s chivalry and humility.

You can not dismiss the reports of Carr and the fractured locker room that surrounds him by saying I never met him.
I would rather have a low keyed Cooper who had a few great years with Carr than a great receiver in Brown who’s ego needs to be massaged constantly and will fracture Carr’s locker room reputation even more. Just my opinion.
If we were talking about Brady I would rather have Brown. We are talking about Carr and I would rather have Cooper

Ok, if that’s your belief, can you show me these reports?
Particularly ones that confirm your diagnosis that he is mentally fragile?
I’ll recibsider my viewpoint if they are compelling.

The already failed on cooper. I think you are way way overrekying on your psychological profiling. Brown didn’t cause any production issues in Pittsburgh.

I’ll hold off on this until reading the reports you are aware of that I may not be.

Wow you broke down my statement like F Lee Bailey would have. I have an opinion with the knowledge I have accumulated, as do you. I don’t do copy and paste stuff. Christ I don’t even own a cell phone (my choice) and refuse to do My Face and Tweet (my choice). Look up a Florio Profootballtalk article concerning fractured locker room in Oakland, I based my decision off of this and the fact that Cooper once played great with Carr. Just because Chucky moved on does not mean that it was the right choice. Maybe try to reignite the magic they once had instead of adding a productive yet devisive receiver. I will end it at that.

Was this the PFT article about Carr crying on the field? I remember that one.

A theory on why the Steelers seem to be so intent on trading Antonio Brown

I think Florio has this nailed. If Brown hates Roethlisberger, Roethlisberger probably hates Brown. Brown has really doused Ben in gasoline and thrown a match over the last couple of months on social media. The reason the Steelers are giving Brown so much leverage is that they really want him gone to appease Roethlisberger’s wishes.

Can I dismiss those reports because other players denied them, and because Carr denied crying and has a history of not crying when injured, even when badly injured?

I think I'll do that, until more concrete evidence is produced.

Well then good for you. Who cares

Yes it was. Imagine Brady having to explain to media that he did not cry and some players having to come to his defense while others stayed quiet. Red flags to a fractured locker room and a confidence factor regarding your Qb.

It’s a bit of a make or break type year for Carr, so I can’t really blame them for going out and getting him some actual weapons.

Imagine for instance, what a difference adding Antonio Brown and say, DK Metcalf on the outside might do. No doubting your point about adding to the circus that seems to surround the Raiders, but I totally get why they’d take a chance on a talented player at a position of need like this, too.
