It is possible to have studied the law and know quite a bit about the law without choosing to be an attorney as a profession. And I sure as hell know way more than you do.Actually, the fact that you & your fanboy AJ are not attorneys of any type at all means your conjectures are 99% bullsh*t. The fact that you trust a magic 8-ball (your own BS) over a defense attorney involved in the case just proves it.
This is 100% a strawman argument. I am not going to argue whether the government should or shouldn't be able to do what they did here because that is another discussion for another day. I am only going to restate what I have stated all along:To me this is a case of privacy rights over unwarranted intrusions by Government in our lives. I don’t really give a sh*t about the solicitation charges because I personally think this stuff should be legal. However, we should all be concerned with creating a police state where they can install cameras anywhere anytime on the pretense that such and such is going on. If you guys want to give up your rights willingly go for it. I personally find it to be un-American.
It's APF. You new here?How did a thread about R Kraft being charged with solicitation less than a month ago end up being about flying elvis logo that happened >25 years ago?
F*ckin weird.
Grogs had a better career but Eason had a very good 1986
Correct. Eason was fine in 86. Grogan would not have made much of a difference in that game. Denver was the better team.88=Flutie
He was lights out to start the 1984 season but seemed to fade a little at the end. Still a good year.Eason had at least 2 very good seasons imho
i would add at least 1984 combined with 1986
Right? Jeezus H Keerist already. I get that @Actual Pats Fan is fixated on it and it's his sole mission to get FE to go away, but can we keep it in those other threads?
OK Perry Mason. LMFAOIt is possible to have studied the law and know quite a bit about the law without choosing to be an attorney as a profession.
You know, about 150 years ago your obsession with this issue was cute and funny and new. And for about the last 149 years, 364 days and 23.75 hours it's been stupid, boring, idiotic and ridiculous. Give it the f### up. You look dumb and shallow beyond belief persevering on this topic. Quit.
Chris Chase, USA Today:
Despite the silver-faced John Kerry, the Pats logo at least kept red, white and blue in the color scheme. And that's the only positive thing that can be said of the Flying Elvis design. Don't be fooled into thinking it's good just because the Patriots are.
This logo is all horrendous. The Jay Leno chin? The trailing red lines of the helmet? The white star that is supposed to represent the flag but looks like the world’s most unfortunate birthmark? Awful. This has been called the Flying Elvis logo, but a flying Elvis would be infinitely cooler.
The Patriots had once before tried to replace the famed Pat Patriot logo, partially because there was so many intricacies in the design (13 shirt wrinkles and small facial features) that it was hard to reproduce on various retail items.* Fans booed the new logo (an American flag replica with a blue patriot’s head instead of stars) so badly that it was never adopted. In 1993, the Patriots went with a new look, abandoning the red, white and blue color scheme for the current Flying Elvis logo with a silver background. This time they wisely didn’t give fans a chance to boo. How bad is the logo? The jerseys or logos of great teams will, over time, eventually come to possess their own power. The Golden State Warriors logo is great but it didn’t have that inherent strength until the team had it too. The Pats have been the NFL’s preeminent team for close to 20 years and this logo looks as stupid today as the day it was unveiled.
*Grounds crew complained about the difficulty of painting the Patriots' logo in the end zone at the Superdome for Super Bowl XX. Just another in the endless line of disparagement of the franchise; it is impossible to believe that similar treatment would have been given any other team, or at least the complaints would have been framed in a complimentary context, as opposed to the usual denigrating one.
1) It's not what I think, it's what the Defense will try to show, that warrant was obtained for purpose A but was used for purpose B and therefore should be thrown out along with everything gathered with it;I am only going to restate what I have stated all along:
1) They got a warrant to place the camera where it was. (Just because you don't think they should have been granted the warrant doesn't make this statement false)
2) There is zero evidence whatsoever that law enforcement did anything illicit with regards to the traffic stop or the video
3) Evidence gathered using a camera that was placed with a warrant is extremely difficult to get ruled inadmissible. Not impossible just extremely difficult.
This from the guy who believes everything defense attorneys say.OK Perry Mason. LMFAO
LOL! Sure thing, Arnie Becker....1) It's not what I think, it's what the Defense will try to show, that warrant was obtained for purpose A but was used for purpose B and therefore should be thrown out along with everything gathered with it;
2) There hasn't been any discovery or cross examinations so how do we know? Anyway, irrelevant if they prevail on #1;
3) See #1.
OK Perry Mason. LMFAO
I can name ten worse NFL franchises just off the top of my head.
He was very good in 86 also. The patriots had possibly the worst running game ever and they went 11-5 win the division and were #2 in the nfl in points scored.He was lights out to start the 1984 season but seemed to fade a little at the end. Still a good year.
This thread is not quite as good as the one with all the dating advice yet, but it’s getting there!
Before Belichick arrived they won 7 playoff games in 40 years.
From 1990 until Parcells arrival, they were the laughing stock of the NFL. Rod Rust, Victor Kiam and the Lisa Olsen nightmare, followed up by **** MacPherson, with his rah-rah ways, Hugh Millen-ated at QB made sure the joke continued, including not winning a game until week 11 in 1992. They were horrible. Fact, not opinion.
I think there are topics on politics, racism and the old uniforms here too. Standard for a such a lengthy thread.Hmm, let me see what the latest developments are in this Kraft thing by clicking on this 167 billion page thread. And I see that the latest developments are that Tony Eason was good in 1984.
