2019 Combine

Tell me more about Mecole Hardman.

Kaden Smith enters Combines as TE leaves as Offensive Tackle. Really pedestrian times there?? I think you can tip and score a 32 inch vertical.

Tell me more about Mecole Hardman.

Inconsistent. Converted from CB. Big play threat, return man, blazing speed, but still learning the position and has some drops on occasion. Godwin is so much smoother and more advanced, but Hardman brings the big play. I wish I could combine them into one player.

Butler is 1st round talent now. That 40 at his height is unbelievable

He reminds me of Randy Moss. If he Pats pass one of those freakish WR's at 32 I'm going to be upset.

Harry should be very pleased with the 4.54. That puts him firmly in the Hopkins, JuJu, M. Thomas sort of range. He's so physical and dynamic after the catch. Not our traditional type, but imagine him on the outside in Hogan's spot?

Check out Jazz Ferguson. He gets no buzz. Everyone was excited about Butler's size and 40, but Ferguson is almost exactly the same size and even faster:

Butler, Hakeem 6053 227 10.750 35.250 83.875 4.49 4.50

Ferguson, Jazz 6045 227 9.250 34.250 81.500 4.50 4.46

Irv Smith and Sternberger verticals doesn't scare me off at all. With their speed and quickness there going to be always open anyway. Both get good separtion in the passing game.

I don’t think non-elite jump matter that much for TEs unless it’s really bad. But really good jumps might jump someone up in a tie-breaker because explosiveness is always good in the NFL. In other words, I wouldn’t punish Smith, but all things being equal, I might boost Fant ahead of him.

I can't see it personally, as Randy Was explosive he was 4.3 speed, i can see from the jump ball side of things though

The jump ball part definitely.

Harmon looks so smooth in the gauntlet. I don't care that he's slow; he's a good WR.

I think he's quicker than he looks. He reminds me of Michael Thomas

I was worried about his speed, and now those fears are gone after his 40 time.

I wouldn't mind drafting him in the second round, if he drops a little, because he is a really young prospect with lots of growth potential.

I am as we speak.
