Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

So a guy hires a LEGAL escort and didn't really want sex, just a date or whatever. Then, they have some ****tails and get along great, if they have sex is it illegal???
It is legal to pay her to escort him. It is not legal to pay her to have sex with him.
You are looking for a semantic loophole here. You can’t make up the law by creating a scenario that implies intent.

And you can't convict escorts based on a scenario that implies intent, else they wouldn't advertise in the yellow pages sir

Smart move. Let his lawyer negotiate the sentence to a fine and some community svc and make this go away - quietly

Make this go away quietly, and quickly. Then he should get a haircut, find a distinguished looking woman his age, and cool the Hollywood circuit.

I'm still wondering if the supposedly "bigger name(s)" involved will ever be given. It is irritating that if this is true, only Kraft's seems to have been mentioned.

That’s entirely different.

Right, but the law says that anything that is in plain site of an officer who is executing a search warrant is fair game. The circumstances really don’t matter.

'No Allegations of Human Trafficking' and 'Women Could've Walked Out' In Florida Massage-Parlor Prostitution Stings

Reason.com is making the case that there was no sex trafficking. But it's reason.com.

I'm skeptical, but if the big hook of this case was human trafficking, why hasn't anyone been charged with human trafficking? (Having written that, human trafficking charges will probably be announced this afternoon.)

We know about Kraft, John Johnson, **** Palmer, Mingfu Lu and the others and, I assume, all their videos will be made public. How come we don't know the names of the traffickers? If that's what made this case more than just a prostitution sting, why is that information being kept quiet?

I've never heard of reason.com. Do they have a specific reputation, or were you just commenting that it's a no-name source?

I believe they're known as the internet libertarian's Huffington Post.

Being an escort for money is not illegal. Prostitution is.
By your argument anything that happens inside a bar is legal because they can advertise in the yellow pages.
Describing sexual as non-prostitution to argue prostitution is legal is idiotic.

Yes they do. In my example the person has absolutely nothing to do with the warrant. Therefore anything they find in his documents while going through documents that are relevant would be inadmissible.

You are conflating witnessing a crime take place in the course of executing a warrant with the argument that said my accountant can’t have his records subpoenaed because I didn’t do anything wrong so it would violate my rights.

Do they advertise prostitution in the yellow pages?
Committing a crime while doing something else that is legal does not make the crime illegal.

If I work in a bank and steal money from the banks clients, your argument follows that I didn’t commit a crime because the bank advertises in the yellow pages.

You are just wrong on this one. Learn something.

By the way, plain site only applies to being used against the person the search warrant is against.

Bob has always been a jock-sniffer and a star-f__ker. That wont change.

Agree on the hair but thats minor.

I'm not going to pass judgement but if he is interested in being "PR" with a female companion- agree. mid-to-late 50's would be perfect for him.

I give BB credit...he did OK for himself with his girl. I think she is in her mid 50s. 10 year age difference is nothing. 20ish is fine for men in their 70s

This story really opened my eyes to reality...some women would rather give hjs then work in a kitchen or do nails all day.

Technically, Kraft was in and out in under 14 minutes on the 20th.

So, deduct about 8 minutes for the waiting room, getting undressed, and getting dressed again.

The woman made $100 for 6 minutes of work....IOW $1,000/hour....

More than 100. It was 100 plus an unidentified bill. My guess is she got 2 Benjamins.

Can we get an escort legality mega thread?

Two of the women with Bob had massage liscences and lived permanently in the USA.

Leave the guy alone. Pay the ticket and move on. The whole human trafficking angle is pure social justice bullsh@t.
Where did you see this? Human trafficking isn't social justice bs if that's what you're saying, it's a huge epidemic. Just because they live here, doesn't mean they couldn't be trafficked. That does happen.

When are we going to see the traffickers arrested?
