Tonight we saw the only way a Jete can get on TV for a Super Bowl in over 50 years, by carrying the trophy up to the podium to hand to the Patriots! :D Was nice they managed to keep ol' Joe away from the sauce for a change! :D

DA JETE SUCK!

how'd that feel, Rat fan? admit it...right up the azz with a bag of broken glass. 6 rings for us, 666 kicks in the groin for you.

it's biblical

Fun fact: on a special episode of The late Show with Stephen Colbert, Colbert had Sam Darnold on for a sketch. I assume that is the closest he'll ever come to playing on Super Bowl Sunday.

Nice win. Congrats!

I was actually rooting for the Pat's. Rams didn't even belong there.

You were probably thinking to yourself that Goff breaks down in big moments just like Dam Darnit, and we've got several more years of not being able to beat Brady coming up. Of course you won't admit it, but everyone can see Goff is a better player than Darnit, and both aren't good enough.

Great Belichick quote, if you're a Jete fan, regarding working with Parcells: "We worked together as assistants & then I worked for him in 3 different organizations. The Giants, the Patriots, and another organization." See that Jete fans? The Hoodie cut you some slack, otherwise he would have said "...and a (dis)organization."

I love that a takeaway from Jets reporters covering the Super Bowl in Atlanta is "Seeing these new stadiums is a reminder that MetLife Stadium is a dreary, soulless donut and the worst new stadium in the league."

The Jete really are like herpes, the gift that just keeps on giving.
Jim Bob Cooter lands on Jets coaching staff
The NY media will have a blast with that. Personally I can't fathom how he didn't land in Nashville, with that name he'd be a promo rock star in redneck land.

Are you kidding me?

Gase's staff with Jets doesn't lack for family drama

They imported dysfunction.

Vitt and Gregg Williams were members of the New Orleans Saints' coaching staff implicated in the 2012 BountyGate scandal. In the bounty hearings, conducted by former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue, Vitt accused Williams of lying in his testimony.

Vitt also said the players didn't take Williams seriously because of his "false bravado" and "schtick."

Gregg Williams, who once called his son "the best young coach I've ever had on my staff," became frustrated with Gase, the person said.

Eventually, Gase came around, making Blake Williams a defensive assistant, not a position coach.

So after 50 years of Charlie Sheen style 'winning' of the offseason the Jete are trying something new, and circling the bowl right out of the gate. Their coaching staff is already gearing up to be a Jersey swamplands version of the Hatfields & McCoys .

Report: Adam Gase initially “balked” at hiring Gregg Williams’ son as an assistant
Hire an unpopular introverted head coach, then hire an extroverted alpha male assistant coach, watch it explode => SOFJ.

Dysfunction is a Jete core competency.

New slogan:

Jete: They come with the dysfunction bred right in!

I was thinking maybe this could be worked into the theme for your epic 2019 Jete Suck thread.
