You just can’t rely on Eifert taking up a TE roster spot at this point. We have 12 picks? And by all accounts this is a good TE class. I’d say the move is to acquire one through the draft.

We just witnessed a warrior playing the slot last night, and you somehow think that Cole Beasley is going to be the guy to replicate that at 5’8” and 180 lbs?

This isn’t even bringing up the facts that 1) we’re not really in the market for a slot guy who is going to play immediate snaps, and 2) the Patriots aren’t likely to want to pay him market value for what his role would be.

I think it’s much more likely that we develop a future slot player from the PS (Berrios) or the draft. If you said Adam Humphries then I’d be interested.

With all due respect ..when did I ever say he was going to replace anyone? Never did I ever even hint that.

As far as having another slot receiver..seemed to work well with Amendola on the team.

Beasley isn't going to dictate much in the market. He likely isn't going to cost much and he isn't going to demand immediate snaps. He hardly got any burn this season. Not many teams can utilize his skill set like we can.

Lastly all I said was keep an eye on him... He fits the proto typical mold of a player that is under valued and under/mis used elesewhere ..who might thrive here. Chill broseph.

I don’t think we will ever know how good a coaching job BB did this year. He took a team that lost a SB with internal strife and repaired the damage, changed his modus operandi subtlety without compromising his core principles. If the team had not been buying in - the Tennessee, Miami, Pittsburgh sequence could have finished them. Instead it made them stronger. Both the players and BB deserve credit.
