He had a mediocre year and in the playoffs he has been meh, I don’t see him returning this upcoming season.
Patterson has integrated really well this season but I don’t think he will be a full time receiver for the deep ball.
We could use size and quickness on the outside.

I think hes gone yeah, and i was a fan. Really disappointing how much he regressed since 2016. He was an actual downfield threat then. The divisional round against Houston he had some good vertical catches when they were shutting down our short game. Yesterday 6 targets, 0 catches, cant get much worse. Its time to look elsewhere for an outside threat.

I was thinking that too actually. He has definitely had a fall similar to LaFell

We should move on from him. I said during the atlanta superbowl run that he doesn't catch passes on first attempts. He makes an attempt them draw the ball closer. Unless he is wide open, in most cases it can result in a drop/tipped pass INT. Unfortunately, it cost us a turnover yesterday. It doesn't matter that Rams didn't score on that turnover but we could have set the tone on that drive.

It’s too bad. I really thought he was going to only get better after 2016. Really just regressed each year.

Brady deserves way more blame on that INT than hogan

horrible throw, horrible placement, weak velocity, wobbly

Not a good throw but it was a bad play call and should have never been thrown at all.

He has been horrible this year; made much worse by the fact Brady still trusts him and so wasted so many plays on him.

There was zero reason why Dorsett was not ahead of him other than his trust with Brady.

That’s not on the play call. Brady didn’t have to try to take the access hitch if he saw the flat defender getting out there that quickly. That would be on Tom making his reads, making a decision, and making a good throw. On that play, he didn’t

I agree completely that the pick was far more on Brady that Hogan. That said, I'm grateful for his contributions the last few years and wish him well elsewhere in 2019. Zero separation = need for upgrade at position.

Let’s never forget Hogan’s one handed catch in KC. If he doesn’t make that incredible play, who knows if we end up where we did

He’s not an impact player anymore and I don’t trust him to get open 1v1. He used to be a lot better, no doubt.

In terms of his performance last night, I don’t think he was given a single target that he should be expected to catch.

Rams had no answer for the run on that drive. That pass should have never been thrown. Either a run or at worst a play action deep would have been a much better call. If Brady made that decision then that’s on him.

I think the throw was bad because he misread the defense and as soon as he was letting it go, he realized he screwed up and tried, too late, to pull it back.
If you watch the replay, and romos comments Brady thought it was man, and never expected the defenser coming underneath because he liked like he was man on the inside receiver.

There was nothing bad about the playcall. And Brady agreed otherwise he would have audibled to the run. He simply misread the coverage and Philips got him. **** happens and not everything is some bad playcall just because it turned out bad.

He's gone...go get Tate...I ve always loved him

Yes but the call was still totally unnecessary when you’re gashing the other team other ways. Like the INT on the goal line in KC. Bad throw, the completely wrong call. Imo
