Rams’ Robey-Coleman: Age has taken a toll on Brady

Welker missed 1 series. And people still call it "benching".

Also he made fun of the head coach of an opponent on a personal level. Chung said we will "kick the ass" of our SB opponents. Those things can't be even more apart. So please spare me your nonsense comparisons.

Not everything is automatically somehow "bulletin board material" and has to be controversial. I guess Brady saying "we will the next one" in one of the SoundFX kinda videos is also bulletin board material by your logic ?

I agree with your angle on the talking but I disagree on the importance of benching Welker vs the Jete, even for that one series. I think Belichick distracted the team by the timing of that.

For whatever reason Belichick didn't seem to like Welker's attitude. We can see it in another video where Belichick mocks Welker for his comments about being replaced. I don't have it handy but I think folks know the one I'm talking about.

Yeah and Wade Phillips’ comments were a little pissy too, refusing to flat out acknowledge TB12 as the goat, saying only he was “certainly” the best “postseason” quarterback. McVay also did the “one of the best” of all time. The disses are there no doubt. Punch them in the mouth.

No offense, but i don’t view “one of the best of all time” as an insult. It is difficult, in my opinion, maybe downright impossible, to compare players from different eras and try to say one was the greatest of all in terms of pure talent and skill. Playing QB back in the 60s/70s was hazardous to your health and it was hard to put up incredible numbers that we see today, but there’s no denying Bradshaw, Unitas, etc were some of the greats.

However, if you told me Brady was the best of this era (2000 until now) that would be to me completely true. Rodgers, Manning, etc no one comes close

Brady said before SB46 that the Pats were going to win...not a big deal during a pep rally.

Yea I got that sense too.. Jules is a rookie I believe and doing well on returning kicks.. BB asks Welker if he ever heard of Wally Pip (sp?), Welker says no, and BB explains he was the great player replaced by Lou Gehrig... Then Welker goes on to say something like "he can have it" in regards to returning kicks and BB gets semi-annoyed saying "Way to compete"

They are lucky to even be in this game. Speaking of which, this is a bad look. Great job, Roger!

Sources: 4 officials in Rams win have SoCal ties
Referee Bill Vinovich, who led the game's officiating crew, lives in Newport Beach, California. Down judge Patrick Turner, whose primary responsibility was to follow Lewis on the blown call from start to finish, lives in Lakewood, California, in Los Angeles County.

Side judge Gary Cavaletto, whose job was to initially watch outside receiver Dan Arnold before shifting his focus once the ball was thrown to Lewis, lives in Santa Barbara, California. Back judge Todd Prukop, who was stationed in the end zone as an extra set of eyes on the controversial play, lives in Mission Viejo, California.

God will this garbage ever end. Oh no a player of team A announced his plans to win the most important game of the season and defeat the other team. How terrible. I am sure team B will now have even more motivation to win the most important game of their lives. Because of the words of one player on the opponent side.

In case this was too subtle.. IT DOESNT ****ING MATTER. Grow some balls and realize that everyone will go absolutely fully motivated into the SB no matter what. If this was some throwaway game where one team was already packing it in for the offseason it might be a different story. But give me a break about this garbage narrative that professional football players actually can get extra motivation going into the friggin Superbowl.

No matter how many times someone claims it doesn't matter, that fact that it does matter isn't going to change.

Edit: And to those who've chosen to disagree with my statement:

Over the years, player after player has said the same thing that I'm saying. Fauria was just talking about it on the radio, as a matter of fact, making it clear that anyone who thinks that such motivations don't matter is wrong, because they definitely matter.

What the Patriots will do to the Rams!

Brady certainly has slipped.
He has not thrown for 700 yards against an opponent.

Somebody please tweet this to Edelman. The sound FX will be brilliant.

I am sure the Pats social media team is on it...plus a whole bunch of people will be asking them at media night (tonight)

Pat Chung should've kept his mouth shut as well at the send off rally. He said something like "we're going to go down there and kick their ass".

Cooks responded to that comment in their send off rally. So Rams are aware Chung said something.
I am glad Cook responded. Cook is diva, he knows how to get pass interferences without being touched. Eagles figured out how to fix that in the Super Bowl last year (kicked his a** out of the game)

"I've got Buffalo blood running through my veins, so you know I hate these guys," Robey-Coleman told the website. "I naturally hate them. I never liked New England."

So what!

Dosent matter. Trying to use the era thing in a way to discredit Brady's accomplishments is laughable. Sure, Brady plays a game today that was different from back then. And sure, Brady has some advantages for the most part, but so do all the Quarterbacks that the Patriots play every week. So Brady has all of these "advantages" but the other QBs in the game today dont?

All that matters is how dominant you are over your peers and Brady has shredded everyone. Case closed, its over. You lost.
