Bastard wish him the best with his poaching ass against any team unless it impacts the Pats.

O'Shea Biliema.

I have a hard time working up righteous indignation because a coach takes two coaches with him when he becomes the HC of another team.

If you want to get annoyed over something Flores is doing, get annoyed that he's staying in the same division.

I mean... It sucks for us, but I can't blame them...

How long was O'shea waiting to be a OC here? How long has he dreamed of being an OC in the NFL...

All our coaches are individuals, with individual decision making and dreams... They can only do what's best for them in long-term and getting this comes in a fortunate time...

Sure the Pats gets a weakened coaching staff, but who wouldn't ponder a decision to move up ?

I don't know... I don't get mad at this type of stuff... It sucks and all, but it is understandable to me

Does it suck to lose parts of a well oiled machine ? Yeah. But there is enough depth on the offensive side of things. Schuplinski will just go and work with WR as well and is in place as OC in case McDaniels leaves after next season.

This is an opportunity for OShea he would not get here and also means a jump in pay. Good for him. That is just how the business goes.

It's never ideal to lose an experienced coach like O'Shea, but it does sound like Schuplinski is ready for a promotion. Going from assistant QB to WRs would make sense.

Just not fun in New England I guess:rolleyes:

This is not a coincidence. The Dolphins Owner Ross, in part selected Flores to hurt the Patriots knowing he would bringing assistyant coaches along.
I doubt Flores gets a job offer in any other division

I just want this stuff to take place after the SB. I want 100% of the focus to be on beating the Rams until then. Look how bad the defense played in the SB last year when Patricia was interviewing and preparing to become the Lions coach.

I thought OC was going to be Caldwell and that is why Brian got hired because he was bringing an "elder" for the other side of the ball.

According to the link Caldwell will be there.
I hope BB makes sure this is a real promotion for Chad.
Patriots' Chad O'Shea viewed as front-runner to become Dolphins offensive coordinator
Caldwell is apparently getting the assistant head coach title, which makes sense given that the Dolphins will have a head coach, offensive coordinator, and defensive coordinator that have each never done those jobs before. They need Caldwell there just for his experience.

And yet the team was a well oiled machine in 2004 when both coordinators were leaving

Losing O’Shea and Flores is definitely a big blow but a Belichick almost always does well with replacing his lost coaches so it’s nothing new or anything to worry about.

Also, Flores has been a done deal in Miami for weeks by the sound of it so he shouldn’t be too distracted hopefully (no interviews these two weeks etc...it didn’t seem to affect his excellent game planning for the Chargers or Chiefs either)

That ia such a setup for failure. New rookie HC that spent one year as defacto DC? A WR coach to be rookie OC?

That ship in Miami has sunk and it hasn’t even left drydock.

So, if Matt Patricia hadn't been taking the Lions job, Malcolm Butler would have been able to play in the Super Bowl?
