The RTP call was technically justified in the fact that Jones hand visible pushed Brady's facemask without question. Ticky Tac? Yes but the go ahead Watkins TD pick play was outrageous. Kelsey's touch down was an extended arm push off (eh!) . The J.C. Jackson sideline P.I. was a Chiefs gift.
The Chief's can't cry about the Ref on one RTP. The officiating was bad on both sides. The Watkins play went to the 2 yard line. More of a game changer. If the Pats had lost this would have been almost as blatant as a game changer as the Saints game.
Question? Did BB tell the defense to let the Chiefs score? Thoughts. Not much energy on that GL stop attempt. Look at the tape.

Kelce's first down (the 10-yard turn-in) before the big bomb to start the second half was also clearly OPI - Gronk would never get away with that. Both arms fully extended to give him separation and leverage against the defender.

There's pushing on every play, but when a WR/TE fully extends both arms, it's supposed to be a penalty. Kelce does it all the time and gets away with it.

It looked pretty obvious that the ball didn't touch Edelman and the play affected the outcome of the game in no tangible way when all was settled. Agreed cousin, it was rtp by the letter of the law but a very mild one, i can understand chiefs being upset at that call. That said it was ONE call vs at least 4 or 5 awful calls/non calls that went their way.

As far as the gl sequence, it did look suspiciously easy for kc. I don’t agree with the decision if so as there was plenty of time. 3 timeouts and the 2 min warning. Might as well try for a stop,if not you lose maybe 10 seconds and a timeout. Still An eternity for tb12, we scored too early too because apparently 39 seconds is an eternity for maholmes.

It's a completely stupid hill to die on, particularly since it was such a twist of fate either way. It's not like it was an egregious pick not called or a DPI or something like that - and, as you correctly point out, another twist of fate reversed it anyway.

He doesn't want to admit he was wrong when he picked KC, same thing with the other two stooges on the show. Every now and then I tune in to remind me why I don't listen to that show, they didn't let me down today. According to them KC got hosed on the bad calls and the Pats benefitted totally ignoring the bad calls against them.

I mentioned that to my brother that Gronk would get OPI called on him but Kelce, or any other tight end for that matter doesn't get called for it.

I do have to say, though, that you can really see how physically weak Kelce is in comparison to Gronk. He full on shoved a guy he has four inches and fifty pounds on and it barely created separation. Kelce is a really good player, but he's pretty soft. He really takes plays off when run blocking and he mostly uses his length, speed and YAC ability rather than physicality.

I actually think that's one reason Kelce doesn't get called for that whereas Gronk does. A shove from Gronk on a corner sends the guy flying off balance, whereas Kelce basically Patty cakes the guy and then gets position on that type of route.

He's also obviously affected by physicality at the line. Even though Kelce is a better player than Gronk right now in terms of sheer production, Gronk is still the best blocker in the league and can still get open, so I wouldn't trade him for Kelce. He can just actually be defended now, whereas he was unstoppable before.

It wasn't terrible, but again, I think it just doesn't look as bad because it doesn't impede Gronk as much as it would some other players. The initial contact was totally legal, but the defender tried to grab the inside of Gronk's shoulder pads. His hand just slipped off because Gronk is so powerful.
