The "trailblazer" will be on Sunday's officiating crew

Don't be haters or catcallers or whatever because she is a woman. I think it's great that she's out there, as long as she makes good calls. Lots of NFL officials of the male persuasion get calls wrong every week. She IS a trailblazer and believe me, even though I don't know her, I know she has faced a lot of bullshyt to get where she is. You go sista.

Now, let's have the Pats win a good game!

The topic of the thread is actually about her and I'm mocking her call as a ref, not as a woman.

Since you brought it up, I'd like to know what bs she had to deal with to get where she is.

To be fair I'll see if I can find the call from the opening kickoff of the Philly at Dallas game and post that here also. It was also bad.

Lol at many things:

1. If you’ve never seen a ref run away from BB aside from this lady, you haven’t been watching a whole lot of pats games

2. Are we going to have a thread for every other ref who has made a ****ty call? Cuz then we can have a thread for every single ref in the game, how far back should we go? Or just present? I assume OP will do those honors too

3. Or are we going to scrutinize her more so than he other refs? Why is that?

4. I watched that clip and even watching slow mo after the ball hits the ground, I can’t track it, so I have little to hold against someone who can’t track it live...which btw included at least 3 refs in the clip

Political forum Trash can, here we come!

She didn't make the call here that Belichick was discussing. She was a line judge and Belichick was discussing the bad call with her because she was the one that happened to be nearby. A backjudge threw the flag for that ridiculous defensive holding call on the down lineman, and Belichick was arguing that the DL was using proper technique.

She missed repeated false starts by Peters in that game. Like almost every play.

Please take out a mirror, look in it, and you will have all your answers.

I wish her well. That said, here's to us noticing her on Sunday as much as we want to notice any official...

...which is to say, not at all. :)

If you don't have an answer to the question that's fine. We can move along.

There isn't enough time in the day for the whole answer to the question, but I agree, we should move along.

She's pretty good looking, IMO.

Yeah, but does she kiss her kids?

I like when coaches are able to have passion when dealing with refs, which includes some nasty language, attitudes, and mannerisms. I also like showing respect for women. This is why I don't love idea of female refs, not because I am chauvinistic.
