Gordon came off will a knee injury. Interesting to see if he practices this week with traveling back and forth from West Coast and if there is a flare up or swelling or less than 100%.
I don’t get it
He will have ghost pop it up until he gets burned once. Or rugby kick ...That is his MONot necessarily. When you are kicking to an ALL-PRO returner in King, he tends to have them go through the endzone.
I'm not afraid of the Chargers. At all.I think we all knew this year would be a tougher road than in prior years. Chargers are a formidable team but hopefully we'll be able to win.
For general fans of the league, this is a great matchup to see. Hoping for a good game.
Not gonna lie, he annoys me sometimes but it would be nice to see Rivers get his ring someday. I just know if he does this year it will come at yall’s expense
Kontra was a 21 year old pup back then posting porn on a rival web siteThe fact that Kontra was banned 11 years ago by that chargers forum and is still banned to this day..
I suggest you go to bed and not watch or see any sports news until next Sunday morning to avoid a stroke.Pats could have a long day. We drew the short straw.
The good news is we will know what kind of team we are if we win.
Rivers has never won against Brady. That's not going to change next week.
@scout
Since you've given me a genius to show your contempt, let me explain -- you missed my point. I wasn't making an argument (Rivers has never beaten Brady; ergo, he won't be able to in the future), but rather making a hype post as a fan (they haven't beaten us before, and we're not gonna let them do it now! yeah!). I can certainly understand that these two current teams are nothing like the previous teams, and I'm not arguing for historical precedent when none of the details other than Brady and Rivers (and maybe Gates) are the same between the teams.
I'm more than happy to have a discussion about Xs and Os, but I don't think I did anything to merit the dismissal of your original post. It came across a bit imperious.

I’m shocked the Ravens played this badly. They spanked the Chargers in LA. The Chargers adapted. The Ravens did nothing new. Martindale schemed really well and the Ravens D kept them in the game. Harbaugh and Mohrniweg really failed with that Vanilla Ice offense.
Many are scared of the Chargers. I’m not really sure why. Baltimore has virtually no passing game. There were no creative plays and they never tried to take sdvantage of the Chargers “aggressive” defense by using misdirection. LA often put eight in the box, including up to 3 (!) safeties. Please do that against a rested NE.
Other than Gordon, who on the LA offense is better than his Pats’ counterpart? Other than Ingram, who on the Chargers D is better than his Pats counterpart? Anything can happen but I’m not seeing LA winning this game.
Remember the Chargers saw the Ravens a few weeks before. They haven’t seen the Pats this year.
I could go on and on and on, but everyone would fall asleep, accuse me of being a homer or just laugh.

No but you are being a bit too chicken little for my likingI never let the games bother me at all
After watching this game, I think the Pats have a very good chance.Hate to say this, but this might be the worst match up for the Pats. The Chargers might be the most complete team in the AFC this year.
I think the Pats at home gives them far more than a puncher's chance of winning, but I wouldn't bet on the Pats if this was on a neutral field.
The Chargers have better WR and DT than the Pats. You forgot Bosa who is a much better pass rusher than anyone the Pats have.
Pats are stronger along the OL and DB’s. The Pats have a better kicker but the Chargers have the better return man.
The big issue here is that the Pats don’t have the personnel to exploit the Chargers’ biggest weakness (OL) but the Chargers strength (running game) matches up terribly for the Pats dreadful run D.
Gordon is likely to have a monster game. The Pats will need Brady to be perfect and hope for some Chargers mistakes.
