Wild card weekend game thread: Colts @ Texans

Last year in the NFC championship game, I rooted for Philly because I thought they would be the easier match up for us, we saw how that worked out. I'm done rooting for teams, whoever we play, we play....It's going to be a tough game no matter who it is.

I wanted Philly so the Vikings wouldn’t be at home in the Super Bowl

Nah we're blowing out whatever sad soul gets condemned to Gillette

Is Indy really this good?

Texans suck but yes Indy is also pretty good. Luck is finally healthy, OL is best since mid 2000s, Reich is a really good game planner, and best defense since they left the AFC East.

The Pats would have a problem with Indy, if they play them, based on this half of Luck's play.

I can't believe I haven't muted this game. I'm not even being hyperbolic when I say this, but this is the worst broadcast team I've ever listened to in my 31 years on this Earth. Holy ****.
Then you must have missed the one with that lady commentator.

I think so

Pats and Chargers are better. I don't buy KC because they're the only team in the playoffs with a truly terrible defense.
I'd put Indy #3 in the AFC,ahead of KC.

I think so
9-1 down the stretch, well balanced offense, and a solid defense. I thought they were dead in the water after their start but they are looking legit. I still think the Texans at least make a game out of this.

I see your point completely. That being said I usually always root to play the team that does the least unusual things on offense and defense. I would have much rather played a classic Mike Zimmer team than something that is inspired by Andy Reid without the fat genius being there to screw up the clock.

Similarly, I much, much rather play the Chargers next week because you know what you will get. With the Ravens it is entirely possible that they will not only have their QB run stuff but also have packages for Flacco prepared.

And this is not a "oh nos the Ravens" kinda thing.
