No. notre dame played a much tougher schedule. Reality is most semi final games are just not competitive. Clemson and Alabama are just really really good

I’m not sure how UCF has gotten away with some of the stuff they’ve gotten away with. I hate the targeting rule in college, but that shot on Burrow was targeting.

Not NDs fault but that schedule wasn’t as tough as they thought when they made it. FSU Vatech Stanford and usc all down. Best wins were against two big10 schools.

Notre Dame eeked out lots of close wins, I will give you that. Like a come-from-behind 4th quarter 19-14 win at home over Pitt, after UCF smacked them 45-14 (over, 31-7, at halftime).

It wasn’t as tough as everyone thought but it was still much tougher than UCFs
