The Pats have a defense about as bad as theirs only on a pro level of course. Who else hopes this isn't a preview of the Pats vs the first good team they play in the postseason

Our D has had its bad moments, but there’s no way this is a fair comparison. Not that I’m proud of this defense, but it’s top 10 in points. OKs D is astronomically bad.
And thank god for that! While I feel for them, their defense also makes me happy about our defense in some ways. The defense in OK is abyssmal. The pats actually have a secondary. The sooners have nothing.
The playoff field pretty much needs to be expanded. You can make damn good arguments for multiple teams to have been in this instead of Notre Dame and Oklahoma in a 4 team field. It won’t be long before it’s ecpanded to 8.Every game is like 45-3. My interest in already lukewarm, but why would anyone be intrigued to watch a bunch of lopsided games? Maybe bookmakers should be consulted for matchups to ensure the playing field is somewhat level. This is why I’ve always been disinterested in college football, the idea that a lot of these games have little chance of being competitive (that and the NCAA organization.)

That would be an improvement. If Alabama or Oklahoma we’re beating up on the #7/#8 ranked teams, at least you’re going into with the underdog angle. The point spreads on both games today were over two TDs, and these are supposedly four absolute powerhouses. Then I see something about Auburn scoring 56 points in the first half...what’s kind of crap product is that for the featured games of the year. A 12 team field with NFL playoff format would be great.

Yes. I totally agree. And expanding to 8 teams just makes it messier. Then you have quarterfinals where the top three teams wallop their opponents and the semis ending in not-so-bad blowouts. The BCS was better than this. Only 2 semi final games have even been close since the playoffs started in 2014. It's a joke
