Marvin Lewis finally fired

BS firing. Gase is a good coach. Back-stabbing Tannenbaum should also get the axe.

Yep, a playoff team the first year, and then 13-19 his last two years, after cleaning out the roster and bringing in 'his guys'.

Turns out 'his guys' suck. There was talent on that roster. He gave away Ajayi. He gave away Jarvis Landry. Those were his calls.

Maybe he's a good OC. But he's not HC material, not yet anyway.

Not even Affirmative action can help Marvin Lewis he's the Jeff Fisher of Black Coaches. How did he have such a long tenure??
Marvin Lewis Coaching Record - 131-122-3
Jeff Fisher Coaching Record - 178-171-1

That's almost creepy.

Mike Tannenbaum is the GM and I assure you did not let Gase pick the groceries.

16 years and not 1 playoff win? Marv had to been holding some really juicy info on Mike Brown. Poor Marty Schottenheimer got the boot after two 1-and-done's in 5 years. Bill has more than 20% of Marv's total regular season wins in the playoffs.

Landry and Ajayi were both allowed to leave/traded because they clashed with the head coach. They weren't the only ones.

They offered Landry and extension and he refused thus why he was traded.

Ajayi and Gase did clash which is unfortunate. What was also unfortunate was Ajayi's ****ty attitude because he wanted a contract extension and missing practices b/c of his knee scared the Fins off.

Blame Gase for not catering to Ayjai but he was immature and the decision to trade him was Tannenbaum as it was Landry.

Good. I felt bad for their fans

Nothing against Lewis but no one deserves a job that long without a playoff win

Hackett seemed good, I heard he got fired for liking Blake too much lol?

Um to be honest I think he was a scapegoat for the offensive failures. The offense was hamstrung by Bortles (they played around him) and the injuries

Is Fournette getting traded?

Why does this thread say fired when Lewis himself said he jointly decided with Brown? Is Mike Brown the wussiest owner in the NFL ???

That press conference was weird. Lewis was acting as if he was co owner saying “we were both upset”. Huh?

Arizona rumored to want Marvin Lewis. Is Carson Palmer returning the next shoe to drop?
So the Cardinals fire a guy after one season and now they "want" Lewis who never won a playoff game in sixteen years and whose regular season record pretty much defines mediocrity.

Joey Porter won more playoff games playing in street clothes then Marvin Lewis in 16 years.
