They are being way to conservative on offense.... seriously, I think Brady can throw it 20 yards vs a bunch of backup DBs...God they are so frustrating this season...
They moved the ball at will for 28 mins. This defense of the vikings and pass rush is good. Not the one which allows you to throw deep for fantasy owners. They fked up on 3rd downs .Its not like not throwing deep has been the issue . Who cares if you throw for 20 yards down the field or not.,
I just HATED the way that half ended. Instead of the the Pats having the ball first and 10 from their 30 they squandered almost ALL of the good play they had accomplished with a really bone head play that failed.
They have yet to target Josh. They never used Gronk, Josh OR CP in the red zone..

His play calling has been outstanding except for 2 plays. That is what is ridiculous here. Seriously what the hell do you expect ? They are playing a professional football team with a very good run defense. The other team will also make some plays.
I'm just naive in that I think after a great gameplan all game that one call wouldn't result in emotional manchildren clamoring for the best OC this team has ever had to be fired.
Will be interesting to see our defense now. I think Vikings are going throw deeper routes a lot. I thought they missed a trick by coming out playing conservative vs the pats D.
Get back to the basics in the 2nd half and none of this will matter. Minny is a good team so you figured the offense would score eventually. They will probably score one or 2 more times. We have the extra possession though so we need to just continue attacking.
I don't really **** on our coaching staff, but you're acting like the Patriots are up 28-7 at half. It was a horrendous playcall that let Minnesota back in the game. End of story.
Gronk has been a disaster so far. Bad blocking, no separation and doesn't realize the situation and fights for yards when only seconds are on the clock and you have 2 TOs.
Gronk has been excellent blocking. The one play where Weatherly came in, it sure looked like Cannon was the one that goofed since Gronk wasn't even facing the guy..
I'll give you that Gronk should have gone down.
