The defense gave up one drive all half. News to me they played bad.

Meanwhile McDaniels has been a nightmare on third down calls and has cost us 4 points and possibly another 3 on the last drive.

Those ****ty takes really need to stop. He is among the best -- if not the best OC -- in the entire league. Nobody has a 100% hitrate but the first half has been an A- or B+ effort overall.

If perfection is the expection maybe we should start criticizing Brady when he doesnt have a 100% completion rate.

Nobody's defending it. But going right to 'fire josh' is peak knee jerk silliness. He's a top 3 OC in the league.

They are being way to conservative on offense.... seriously, I think Brady can throw it 20 yards vs a bunch of backup DBs...God they are so frustrating this season...

I agree with this. That playcall was awful though.

Although I still think they can put it together before the playoffs, the offense just seems to be missing that extra gear.

What an awful display of situational football. First they run a trick play on 3rdand inches then let the Vikings march right down the field.

Bad plays all around.

BTW SF was just flagged for DPI in the end zone on a play similar to the Edelman play, yet it was maybe half as blatant!,,

McDaniels continues to be his own worst enemy. No way they shouldn't have made the 1st down on 3rd and inches. Wish they'd spread out like that and have Brady under center to force the opposing team to take people off the line.. If they don't, quick throw by Brady to either slot. If they do, Brady runs it. Using the Direct snap like that takes it out of your play-book for when you really need it..

Also, the play-calling inside the 5 yard line leaves a lot to be desired, again.

No ones saying McDaniels sucks and needs to go. He had a bad half. Don’t worry, it’s okay to call the calling subpar when the calling is subpar. His feelings won’t get hurt.
