Week 12 NFL Games

Yesterday, our beloved GOAT became the all-time passing leader. Was this factoid even mentioned during the game? I never heard it. *crickets*
It was on the CBS ticker during the late afternoon games when they were showing the score and top stats of the Pats/jets games. That was it.

Crap the GOAT reaches another mile stone and we heard crickets.:D This new Offensive NFL I tell ya. :p

So, Rodgers has all these touchdowns and 1 pick....

..And who cares? Guy can’t will a team to victory. Too concerned with his stat sheet, won’t take risks when his team needs it because he doesn’t want to throw a pick. Doesn’t deserve to be in the same breath as Brady. Enjoy your off season fudgepackers.

Another failed Rodgers comeback...

That makes him 1-48 in 4QC's against winning teams. If not for the overturned Dez Bryant TD catch in the playoffs a couple years ago he'd be 0-49. He also has more failures that came against teams with losing records. That's a remarkable stat for any QB, let alone one being touted as the king of comebacks.

It was definitely mentioned and they had a graphic for it, you missed it.

Wow is that stat real? Do you have a link to a source? That’s insane.

What I did was research the games individually since 2016 after I read a post in a link to a Falcon site in 2016 that claimed he was 0-35 at the time. This is that link;

Packers are 0-35 with Aaron Rodgers at QB when trailing by more than one point in the fourth quarter against a team with a winning record. and more fascinating stats

The pro reference site has his updated 4QC's at 14, but only 1 was against a winning team. Here's that link;

NFL Fourth Quarter Comebacks Career Leaders (since 1960) | Pro-Football-Reference.com

EDIT: I did make a mistake and the number is actually more like 1-38, not 1-49. I lumped in games that were already included in the 0-35 and forgot about games in which he didn't play..

That’s why it won’t matter in about 15 years when Vinny Gumbatz out of Slippery Rock State reaches that in his 10th-12th NFL season.

What's the point? They may as well just lose out. The hell is a win going to get you now?

Giving Kessler a chance to prove he's worth keeping as a backup, maybe. Life in Jacksonville could have been much different this season. If they'd just chosen even, for example, Keenum over Bortles, they'd probably be in position to win the AFCS.

I would have been all over Bridgewater if I were them and wanted an even cheaper option.
