Week 11 NFL Games *Bye Week Edition*

Two teams scoring an absurd amount of points isn't fun to me. I felt the same way when it was KC vs. NE. It's not fun when you know a team is going to go down the field and score every single time on both sides. Football to you is only offense to, apparently.
Yup. When you know that defenses can't actually stop the other team, only slow them down a bit, the game fundamentally changes and actually becomes boring.

28-24 is the perfect score.

Ala Super Bowl 49.

Better than 51?

51 was a game that probably won’t be topped in my mind. 49 was great too but I remember the tension and insanity of 51. On these teams who played tonight. They are really not all that. Undisciplined, mindless turnover machines rarely win Super Bowls. People who either can’t or won’t play defense rarely win in the playoffs at all. These two teams will not reach the big game

49 was a lot more tense IMO. I'll agree 51 was more insane though.

I love the fact Brady has more Super Bowl rings than any other QB in history and it’s going to stay that way for a long time and possibly forever while all these other records are falling all over the place.

Great entertaining game. Lived up to its billing. The underated aspect of the game is that each team allowed 50 points to be scored on them. I was left thinking that even in their most pathetic performance ever, the Pats would not allow either team lay a 50 on us. (that is, if we played KC again in the playoffs).
I kind of hope Brady and Belichick retire. They should be associated with the old, balanced, competitive NFL rather than this contrived pile of flaming garbage.
The NFL’s new direction they’re deciding to take is definitely polarizing.

Now let's get back to what matters the most, that is watching our Patriots...thank god the bye is over ! I hate bye weeks for that reason

Hadn't the Seahawks given up like 13 total points in the 4th quarter in something like their last 7 games or something? Then Brady drops 14 on them. Funny how he beat the Seahawks and Falcons, two teams that made Rodgers look like **** 2 weeks before.

Fun fact: Pats have not allowed 50+ points in a game since 1972.

Lol does Andy look angry at his press conference or is that just his moustache?

The ketchup does it again. The condiment bowl delivers.

The Peters interception was a flatout awful throw. No idea what he saw. Until that throw, KC looked poised to win. The awful KC defense makes Mahomes do too much. It is hard to be perfect, especially that young.

At the time it was the biggest 4th quarter deficit overcome in Super Bowl history (a record which fell two years later).

The Seahawks were poised to be the team of the 2010s and create a dynasty. We took that away from them in one play and destroyed their souls (witness all the infighting stories that have come out since). Instead Brady tied Montana and overcame a long championship drought, winning a game that was crucial to his legacy and this era.
