The plight of the Eagles this year illustrates the difficulty of repeating and making it to the Superbowl the year after, only one team accomplishes this feat well .. Your New England Patriots, may not make it every year but consistently in this current run there has only been on year with 9 wins, every other year has been in double digits.. the average win total for the NEP is 12+ wins per year and then there is the 8 conference championships....

The Patriots are 7-3...the Fleagles are 4-6. Making the statement that both teams aren't very good is ludicrous. One is clearly better than the other and one team is in first and the other in third place in their respective divisions. You seem to constantly want to hate on the Patriots...why is that?

Not to mention the Eagles HC doing his genius tour during the off-season. I don't normally kick a team when they're down, but this slap-happy crew deserves everything that's coming their way. Maybe now they can appreciate how much hard work it takes to get there.

I have a feeling that that quote might be on bulletin boards next year when the Pats play in Philly....

I once heard that the minute you think youve ‘made it’ is the beginning of the end. The way the eagles acted, clearly seems like they accomplished all they ever wanted to and just wanted to throw it in our face while they could.

We are incredibly lucky to have Brady and bb because not only are they the best at their position, they never act like they have made it and are constantly trying to improve and somehow stay hungry despite the fact that they couldve walked away years ago and still been acknowledged as the best.

This is a critical subject in that once they win and teams run at them all year with the thought of only wanting to beat the champs once, they fold up and look bad. When the pats win a championship, the following year looks like the previous.

I'm glad we can all take comfort in watching the Patriots win the 2017 Moral Super Bowl
