"BB was awfully critical of Aaron Rodgers while talking to the Patriots defense"

Yeh they showed that clip on inside the nfl, but the guys on the show praised BB for how he coach them up....yet again the dam media trying to spin things up that dont need to be...

So tired of the shtty media...

Thats probably the only time ive seen bb publicly blast a player, I think he said something like we were happy everytime he was on the field LOL

O'Rly?

“We’ve played against a lot better safeties than him, I’ll tell you,” said the Patriots coach. By the game’s end, the stats told a stark picture. The Patriots passed 46 times for 399 yards and four touchdowns, barely bothering with a run game. A 34-13 victory offered a high profile reminder that not everyone can do what Joe Namath did.

He has a bad knee and isn't 100% you can just see it on some of this throws
I actually thought that his knee looked ok during his scrambles & his off-balance throws, and was surprised that nobody from even the local post-game shows (I was in MA on Sunday) mentioned how well Rodgers seemed to be moving around.

This type of media is about getting clicks and fan attention. And this Board once again rises to the bait.
If we don't want bad media, then simply only read legitimate journalists. It isn't that hard to participate in change.

He looked better..but some throws were not him. Now I sound like the media giving him a pass at every opportunity lol

Rodgers wasn't at his best and BB is really really trying to fire up the pass rush. Who cares if he says the opposing QB is vulnerable? His job is to coach his team. BTW, I think we will end up with a decent pass rush with the addition/development of affordable players. I was worried about this. Kudos to personnel and coaching staff.

Also, we still have Rivers and Davis and Trent Harris on the PS which looks like a nice little developmental program for now.

Translation. Don't abandon our defensive game plan that we put in place to slow down one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.

Oh my aching head, how is this even a story????

you know his work is starting to bear fruit with that defense.

You can tell because the number of new threads screaming about our awful defense has tailed off to almost zero.

The defense played against a non-offense two weeks ago, against Buffalo. The defense followed that up by playing its best game of the season this week, against Green Bay. What the hell do you expect? If the defense had **** itself in those two games, people would be screaming about how bad it was, and the homers would be conspicuously silent, beyond the occasional muted cries of "But BB will fix it!. That's both common sense and human nature.

It didn't take long for the point to be made, I think. Let's hope this defense stops screwing around before it's too late to come back in this game.

Actually as a Packer fan I appreciated BB's comment. Rodgers is simply off this year. Every honest Packer fan has seen it. His injury? Probably has something to do with it. His frustration with MM's play calling and guys not getting open? Also probable. Still getting used to rookie receivers and not trusting them enough yet? Trying to do too much? Perhaps that too. His injury last year affecting him? Who knows. age catching up with him? Maybe. But the fact is, there have been receivers open underneath that he's passed up. He's not as accurate and holding onto the ball too long.

Packers need a change of scene. The offense is stalled. Thank god for Aaron Jones. The guy can run, and McCarthy finally got it through his dumb-assed head to feature him against Miami after Packer fans have been literally screaming for 5 weeks. McCarthy has to go. That's a start at least.
