Transactions Before The Game With TENN

I'm fine with Tobin instead of Croston.

BACKUPS: Waddle (OT), Karras (C, OG) and Tobin (OT, OG)

????: Ferentz

I presume that Ferencz will stay as long as Mason is inactive.

Another transaction. A familiar face.

They can still activate him this week or next . Hang in there.

Yeah, no need to rush. I've always assumed we're just waiting for an injury because he wouldn't be one of our best 53 as is, especially after the Obi signing. It wouldn't even surprise me if they let him revert to IR.

Except if they didn't have plans for him why did they use one of the IR return spots on him? I am not I share your opinion about his talent level, as I would expect him to assume the primary role as slot CB. They traded up to get him at 56. We are all just speculating, of course, but we'll find out soon enough.

They used one of the spots because he's healthy and no one else on IR was. It doesn't have to be part of some master plan. He has pretty much 0 chance of supplanting Jones or JMac, and isn't likely to take Jackson's role due to their differences. I could see Crossen losing out on his spot but other than that Dawson seems destined to be a forgotten man in 2018.

Career stats are 16 rushes for 25 yards along with 23 receptions for 152 yards. Think it's clear which kind of back this guy is.

Wonder of they can turn him into a Dion Lewis who had strange Pro numbers because of injuries before he took off.

Expected position addition after they cut Farrow . strange at first sight they would let go solid big back for a smaller more of receiving back esp. with Henry coming up (talking about scout team purposes). Then again they might have CP/Barner acting DH and they needed a healthy Dion stand-in for practices..

I was reading a Titans forum this morning and they all wanted Henry gone at the trade deadline. He's considered a square peg in that offense now. He might not be a huge problem.

Good Rex Burkhead insurance he can run and excels in the pass catching department: Ferguson is also Beast! on screens I like.

Esp. since slow big backs are best meal for Pats D. They annihilated Henry last time. One of the reasons Titans went for Lewis.. But id guess D has Lewis' number as well..

To sum it up (for the moment)

53
Tobin for Croston
Ferentz for Schwenke
Obi for Rowe
McClellin for Grissom

(took away from 2 deepest positions - DE, CB - added to 2 thinnest S, LB..)

PS
Ferguson for Farrow
