Seriously, what an odd-looking human being. He looks like a cartoon character. And he's the primary reason his team lost vs. Miami. New Jersey would've been much better off starting McClown this season over Blockhead Blunder Boy. What a waste.

I watched most of this stupid game. He has a strong arm but he makes stupid decisions, really basic stuff, like keying on one receiver from snap to throw. He can learn but he has a long way to go. Typical Jets though. They ask him to do too much. Idiots.

Like Buttfumbler? Like Gee-No? Like Quackenbush? Like Pity? I wouldn't be too sure. Just like they did with those poor suckers, the Jete are well en route to ruining Dam Darnit. The Green Morons did Darnit a huge disservice by forcing him to "learn" under fire too young, too soon. He's just not good enough to transcend the pressure and expectations like some of his draft peers and he's getting worse with forced experience, not better. Starting McClown this season that team could be 4-5/5-4 and have the makings of something to build on while the rookie watched, learned about the pro game's finer points and started to get his feet under him. Instead it's just another lost season reinforcing SOJ. Which is what that putrid organization and fan base deserve -- for another 50 years.

Ever just feel for that kid that goes to that family with no chance from the get go?
They are rude, vulgar, stupid and will shape that kid from a young age.

Darnold was just a innocent bystander who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, the 2018 NFL draft, with the Jets holding a early pick. Poor soul, think someone should make an anonymous call and try to reecue the kid out of there before it’s too late.

I turned my TV on yesterday and saw Miami scored 13 points. I was like "damn, not even the Jete could screw this up!" Then I saw it....

6. 6 Points. When is the last time Brady scored LESS than 10!?!

This picture is worth a thousand words -- he knew he was f*cked on draft night, when he morphed from Sam Darnold to Dam Darnit. He and his agent were primed for a pick by Cleveland or the Giants. Instead they got the booby prize.

He looks TERRIFIED... By the way is it me or is he actually regressing? More poor decisions and looks more scared and almost clueless? I think hes almost damaged goods.

He simply was not ready to be a starting NFL quarterback. The pressure of expectations being a first round "savior" and mountainous learning curve are only reinforcing bad habits born of desperation. Opposing defenses are capitalizing on this and his mental deconstruction is snowballing. Topping it off, his own GM last week gave a clarion no-confidence vote in touting Jete plans for the coming off-season and 2019. The suckage is epic.

Patchwork offensive line. Defense only HC. Neophyte OC. Their best receiver is on the level with Chris Hogan, probably. (No knock to Chris Hogan, but...) Drafted two WRs in 2017 who are already out of the league. Signing receivers off the street to start at WR. Bottom third rushing attack.

I don't know many QBs who could look good leading the 2018 Jets. Darnold was pretty much screwed from the start because of organizational dysfunction. Of course the same thing could probably be said of Mayfield, Rosen, and Allen.

Put a bolt on each side of his neck and he'd be all set.

Ok, he can learn, BUT NOT WITH THE JETES!!!!!

"Mother do you think she'll try to kick my balls"

Every year is getting suckier, never seem to find the guy. Plans that either come to naught or a draftroom page of scribbled lines. Hanging on a quiet desperation is the Jetsy way. The time is gone, the season is over, thought I'd something more to say.

They "never seem to find the guy" because they AREN'T the guy(s). They're not dedicated to winning, they're dedicated to keeping the bottom line intact -- even if it means stoking the collective delusions of their gullibly codependent fan base.

hey...good news for Rat fans! Jete Johnson Family has announced "Shave Your Ass, Paint It Green and Walk Backwards Day"..reports are hundreds of thousands of green knuckle draggers are thronging barber shops all over Jersey putting up their kid's paper route money to get in on this new exciting Jete promotion.

@JetFan79 was that another successful Sunday? Darnold is really on the upswing!
Don't invite him back here! The collective IQ level of this thread has been improving since he's made himself scarce.

I was hoping to get an optimistic take from him on the slight 4 game lead the Patriots have over the Jete. Gap continues to close. Brady looked vulnerable against the Packers and the end is near; I think next week is the one where we'll finally see the turning point. It's Darnit's division now; @JetFan79 has a very keen eye for QB play and will point out that Darnit is about to have a massive breakout.

By the way, Mahomes is now the heavy favorite for MVP. But how about that Jamal Adams - what a player!!!
