The blind trust some of you have that Gordon will keep it together is mind numbing.

I don't see any reason to believe he's going to fall off the wagon anytime soon. That being said, in 2019, WR will be arguably the biggest hole on the roster, especially if we deal Dorsett.

It was reported a few days ago, I forget by who that the giants were fielding offers for OBJ.

It was reported that teams have contacted the Giants about trading for OBJ, since the Giants are in selling mode. The Giants already made their price pretty clear this offseason: two first round picks. Maybe they've gone down some, but I'm sure it still costs a king's ransom to acquire him. In this sense, almost every player in the NFL is available "for the right price."

Kinda surprised Lions would sent Tate to Philly. Aren’t they a wild card competitor? We shouldn’t help Houston sending them Dorsett.

The ambivalence some of you have that the defense is fine as currently constituted is mind numbing.

Did I say that? Penciling in Gordon as a contributer for the rest of the season is a disaster waiting to happen.

Anyone else surprised the Broncos are in a fire sale?

9-7 probably gets you a wildcard this year.

You wouldn’t trade a 1st and 2nd for OBJ?

I agree that Denver was very much still a WC contender, but there's no way they make a real run, so what's the use?

And a draft pick somewhere in the teens. Not something a team that has no QB in a division that has Mahomes needs.

Lions have some good offensive talent outside of Tate, and they need capital to rebuild that defense.

Sorta smart by Patricia, actually. You're not winning a Super Bowl this year anyway.

Broncos know they are not going to contend without a better QB, and possibly head coach.

You are trading for the player and his contract. There is no way I am sending any first round pick to a team for a player on a market setting deal.

There's a difference between selling off Thomas, who's an expensive redundant piece, and half your starting defense. Although I suppose you're right on that.

Show me where I said I have blind trust in Gordon.

Hint: I didn't.

Rosters have limits, and teams have needs. If you've got Gordon, you've got Gordon, and you have to count on him at least to an extent, because you've burned a roster spot on him. I've been a proponent of bringing Thomas to N.E. since his draft year, but you've got to weigh the needs, and WR is now way down on that list. If they could have gotten Thomas for middling draft capital and just a small cap hit, I'd have been great with that as something that was almost a "no cost" move. From reports, that's what they tried to do, but Denver chose not to swallow the cap hit.

Time to move on.

So what big name receiver is left?
