So this may be crazy but after watching the last Hill 75 yard TD I'm really wondering if the defense had orders to let them score quick. Look at how Harmon doesn't react and when he does he breaks down to tackle Hill when he had a clean shot with no reason to slow down. Also you can see Chung pull up even though he was probably in closing distance. Idk maybe the defense is really just that bad but watch that play again and tell me they were actually trying to tackle the guy.

Not in that situation. The whole field only 1 time out up by 7 with 3minutes left. One stop and its game. Worse case scenario they take all 3 minutes to score a TD and you go to OT. No way you let them tie the game instantly.

I think you’re reaching on this one. They had a 7 point lead at that time. The worst the Chiefs could do was tie the game unless they went for two and got it.

Harmon had never a clean shot at Hill. One of them is running full speed the other still in the process of acceleration. The tv angle also made them look closer towards each other than they actually were.

Harmon took the wrong angle because he definitely is not used to deal with players with that speed.

I'm not sure there even is an angle where anyone catches Hill on that play.

Personally, I’m glad they scored quickly. I thought whichever team had the ball last,with enough time to run 4-5 plays would win.

I’ll be honest, this thought floated through my mind as well. IF they were going to score, doing so quickly actually worked in our favor.

Of course that’s a big stretch. Just something kinda funny to think about.

If we wanted them to score quickly, we would have let them score with under 2 minutes left, IMO. 3 minutes is actually a life time in terms of a football game with the 2 min warning and 4 TO's between two teams...
