Friend of mine thinks the Rams are the best team since 2007

Maybe 3 tough games left. Eagles, Chefs, Saints

I mean, those three games are something, and they still have to play the Seahawks again, plus the Packers and Bears. And the Lions and Broncos, who won't be favored or anything but aren't pushovers.

If they get to 16-0, they'd have earned it. But there are a lot of games left, and sometimes the ones you don't see are the ones that bite you. In 2007, the Patriots should have lost to a Ravens team quarterbacked by Kyle Boller, absent a stupid timeout by Rex Ryan. They got pushed by an Eagles team quarterbacked by AJ Feeley. They had a hard fought game against a deplorable Jets team in which Brady had 140 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT, and had to come back to beat the Giants in a meaningless Week 17 game, and then ultimately fell to the Giants.

In 2010, probably the best team other than 2007, they lost to the goddamn Peyton Hillis Browns and the Mark Sanchez Jets (...twice).

So **** happens. Goff looks good but he's hardly a world-beater, all it takes is one bad game against the Cardinals, coupled with a good game by Josh Rosen, and suddenly they're looking mortal. And this was a team that couldn't do anything in their playoff game last year, and they're not a substantially different team other than Suh and the corners (who are hurt in any case).

I like the Rams. I've watched way too much of the Rams over the last decade. My best friend is a lifelong Rams fan and so if the Patriots don't win, I hope the Rams do. But it's a long season.

I agree on all accounts, but they coulda lost on Sunday to a Seahawks team that gave them all they could handle. They knocked out their top two receivers and the Rams didn't miss a beat. Still lots of football to play though. Yes the Bears game is a tough one. I forgot to list that game.

They looks good...no doubt...they won an hard battle @ Sea / -credit to them

They are at the moment the best NFC team

They are fun to watch with that offense

Let s see...

They just had a tough game with mediocre Seattle.

But "you are what your record says you are"... right? Or does that only apply to the Patriots when they're doing well?

They’re missing a few key pieces on defense. Besides seattle is a divisional game.
Just saying it’s hard to say they only have 3 tough games on their schedule when they just had a tough one against a team no one would include on that list.

Not sure they are the best in their division. AS is right - too early.

Tap the brakes...

Which one of their division rivals will finish with a better record?

I realize the Seahawks played a very close game but a win is a win.

I wish I still had Gamepass and could rewatch games at will ;-;

Mediocre Seattle has played a lot of close games and since their running game is improving every week, would give our team all they can handle.

You guesses aside Seattle is mediocre. If they are the “tough game yardstick” at least 7 of the rams remaining games would be tough games.

Bill Bellichick would say that every opponent in the NFL is a tough game.

Rams probably have the most talented roster in the league, but the games are still played on the field. Fun team to watch, but as we know winning a SB takes more then just talent.

Funny thing is, I was in L.A a few weeks back and Raiders gear out numbered Rams gear like 10-1. I didn’t even see any Chargers gear.

How high is he.

I'd say the 2013 Seahawks and 2014 Patriots are better

I think the 2018 Chiefs are better. They played a tougher schedule and have won more easily.

For some reason the "experts" have decided that the NFC is superior, in spite of their poor record vs the AFC this year.

Rams Saints Vikings are at the moment my top 3 Nfc teams but it is only beginning october...

When we beat KC, all eyes are back on the Pats!.
;)
