So you expect he has to win every game ever?
When did I say the defense was not bad in that game?
Bad is not the word, they offered almost no resistance. I do not expect them to win every game, but the fact is there is no tomorrow with the SB. You win or you lose. Every decision is viewed through that fact. The offense, while not perfect, gave them enough to make winning possible. They simply never made any stops. With the defense they played, winning should never have been even possible.

Teams lose games. It happens. Are you that entitled that you have to still cry about it?

Cmon guys and gals keep at it. There’s no reason this can’t become the Malcolm Butler MegaThread part II.

Oh, so prior success matters?
No, I'm holding you to your own standards and reasoning and demanding an explanation.

You don't get it, do you? Then again, I can't expect an honest answer from you.

Belichicks track record proves he is capable of making the right decisions.
Butlers track record proves he admits he was t prepared to play. Pretty simple.

It must be frustrating for you to always want to argue with me and always be wrong. I guess that’s why you stop trying and make it a unsubstantiated personal attack.

I think we can all agree with these two statements.

(a) Bill did not want to lose the game. And (b) not one person on this board knows why Bill did not play Butler, BUT if (a) is true... there had to be a valid reason.

If we can agree on a and b, let's just admit without all of the facts........

I've already debunked your Belichick apologism throughout the off-season in the Malcolm Butler thread, as have many others.

You don't even argue on here. You simply take users' posts, twist them in to something entirely different, then expect a debate to ensue. You raise straw man "arguments" for yourself to defeat. Of course you think you've never lost an "argument".

No you have not.
Butler admitted he wasn’t prepared to play
Belichick has more information to make the decision with and more skill and experience to make it than you.
You posted a bunch of inane things that don’t cone close to touching those facts.

Again, the mark of a defeated man, attack the person beating you with facts personally to divert from the truth.

You have the gall to claim you've never made a dishonest post, then follow it up with this?

That's what Malcolm Butler's "track record" is, huh? My God. You're something else.

His greatness is that he has high expectations of his players. Butler chose to not be prepared to play.
If playing Butler would have been better why would Belichick not do it? You act as if he didn’t care to win.
As I've said since the day of the Super Bowl, he chose "my way or the highway" over common sense. Fail.

Yup

That is what Malcolm butler himself said. It’s a fact.

There is absolutely nothing that backs that up. There is no “my way” other than the organization is built upon hard work, preparation and dedication. Why would you ever expect him to, or want him to, abandon that?

Butler admitted he wasn’t prepared to play
Yup
That is what Malcolm butler himself said. It’s a fact.

For once and for all, STOP resorting to this absolute lie.
“This the biggest game of the year, so you gotta shoot your best gun or your best shot,” Butler said. “Preparation is the best way to win. And maybe they didn’t see 100 percent, mentally or physically, Malcolm Butler that they usually see.”

Just how piss poor must your reading comprehension be if you think that's Malcolm Butler "admitting" to being unprepared to play? That's Malcolm Butler speculating as to what the coach(es) might have saw.

Once again, you have the gall to claim you're never dishonest or lie?

It’s a fact, admired to by butler himself.

No, it’s butler saying he knows what they expect and how important preparation is and he wasnt dialed in.

You never stop with the lies and dishonesty, do you? It's incredible to witness.

That's some next level word-twisting and mental gymnastics. Quit embarrassing yourself.

All fact. Straight out of butlers mouth.

Sorry, but I'm not letting this guy get away with such an egregious, disingenuous stretch of words so he can suit his agenda. Not a chance.

He’s got 40k plus posts. He’s prepared to go longer than your willing to. You know this. We all know this.

Sorry you don’t like the truth.
