So, and I’m open to being corrected, it’s probably been since 2012 that Brady has played for this many games without Edelman or Amendola available as the metronome/mr reliable as an underneath guy. At that point in 2012, Wes Welker and the Murderer were still on the squad. That’s a long time having 11/80 as his guys. We can talk big play WRs like Gordon all we want - FWIW don’t think he makes the difference tonight - but Brady is used to not having those types of WRs. He’s NOT used to not having his boys. Not paying Dola is looking like a HUGE error. A couple first downs from a guy like that tonite could be the difference between a W and an L.

The defense is a separate if very important issue, but this is a game NE can win 31-23 in years past. They just don’t have the horses right now. Hopefully everyone can ice up and go get em week 5.
