Fowler cut; Croston promoted; Waddle apparently starting at RT

Cannon not healthy as per usual. Hopefully Waddle is up to the task. He’s got quite a test ahead of him. Burkhead and Michel playing would be even better news now.

And people were twisting themselves into pretzels in the previous thread to try and convince everyone that Fowler and his special teams experience was much more valuable than Dez......

I said this guy wouldn't make to week 4. Turns out he didn't even make it a week.

Coleman was signed the same day as Fowler. The difference is that Fowler is a vested veteran and not subject to waiver claims. Fowler could be brought back next week, if Cannon is ready to go.
Of course. But he was released to sign Colston. Not sure if they would expose Colston given lack of depth at OT.

So Cannon has what, a foot , ankle, toe or calf injury? he always have problems in his lower extremities, I have seen that with other athletes that gained weight, that's the body screaming I can't hold all this weight.

I said when Wynn got ruled out for the season that it wasn't the left side that I was worried about, he would fill in for Cannon during the season as this was a sure thing to happen, and that would probably be a tryout to see how he does because I think the team is going to draft or sign another tackle (or retain Brown) for next season and move on from Cannon.

Dez blows, and he's a headcase. Count your blessings NE isn't desperate enough to sign him.
