Ryan’s arm looks so weak
Seriously. He looked awful on some of these throws.

19/34 117 yds and a pick for a 50.7 QB rating and he gets interviewed for the idiotic “philly special.”
Again, way to go defense, this moron shredded you.

Some of it is. If he wants to be in “that” stratosphere the offensive game plan, esp in that situation at the end, is at least partly his responsibility. If he just wants to be a guy who had a couple good years he can blame the coach. Dudes a 10 year vet, not some bum off the street begging for work.
If that’s true that’s a major troll job by the eaglesWhat an insufferable prick. I feel somewhat ****ty saying this, but part of me kind of hopes the dude has a career ending injury and disappears into post-football oblivion sooner rather than later.
Or maybe just a lousy season for Philadelphia? I'll take anything that renders that sack of **** irrelevant. I suppose beggars can't be choosers.
Exactly. Something tells me they regardless of the offensive coordinator, Brady, Brees, or Rodgers would not throw five consecutive uncatchable balls to lose the game. I think Ryan is a lot closer to the middle than he is to the top.
He was pressured on nearly every play at the end. The guy has 35 game winning drives. Something to be said for that. Their entire offense is vanilla and it shows since Shanahan left.
Ryan is not bad. He’s not Tom Brady. But he’s not bad. If Matt Ryan is bad, then there’s a lot of guys playing quarterback in the league who don’t belongHe threw the ball out of the end zone on 4th down only to get bailed out by the refs. He didn’t know that flag was coming when he threw it. That’s unacceptable.
He was 1-8 for 3 yards 0 tds 1 pick inside the 10 tonight. Sark is bad but Ryan is bad too. Put them together and you see the result.

What? Why would you place that ball high and away when Julio had inside leverage. That ball needed to be low where Julio had a chance to catch it in bounds.

There’s definitely a lot of guys playing qb who don’t belong. Ryan is your middle of the road qb. Guy had a career year in 2016. Rest of his career he’s reverted back to a decent but nothing special qb.
Oh stop ****ing whining. He also shredded and put 38 points on the best defense (yards, points and 3rd down) in the nfl 2 weeks prior, the Vikings
26 of 33
352 yards
3 TD
He pulled a Flacco.
I think once you get past Brady and Rodgers you’re essetially splitting hAirs. Then there’s guys like wentz and Goff who we really haven’t seen enough of to make any legitimate judgements.
I know everyone loves Wilson and as much as a I loved him in college, there’s just something about him I don’t like. I think he try’s do to much and holds on to the ball to long. But he gets away with that because he has escapability like we’ve never seen. I’m not saying he’s overrated necessarily but I don’t see him as being elite from the pocket
This isn't true.
I just watched the replay; Julio was lined up inside in the formation & absolutely did not have inside leverage. ATL's was in a tight 2x2 formation (more room for plays going outside and they lined up Julio on the inside). Philly matched it by playing 3-on-2 (triangle coverage) with the 3rd defender to the inside. So, Philly was absolutely not going to get beat inside. Sure enough, ATL took advantage by having Julio's route go outside, (and ATL's outside WR going inside to pick the 2 inside dbs) and the fade to Julio Jones was a 1-on-1.
Really everything else ATL did sucked (especially the 3 passes before). But that one play wasn't a bad idea. Especially to Julio Jones.
