Most shocking preseason development for me. BB moving on from two core ST in one offseason is something to take note of. Good call @AndyJohnson that the Bolden release was different than in the years before.
Who is the second?

I think Grissom beat out bolden for that st job.

Should have given Slater's money to Bolden, excellent ST player and can be a reliever in the running game. All due respect but Slater is making the roster just for the locker room speach awww yeahh. He's been dealing with hamstring issues for 2 years now.

Bolden will turn 29 during the playoffs in January. It seems that he may be at least somewhat more likely to get more snaps on offense in Miami than he would with the Pats this season. Maybe that's what he's after now - just a chance to play some again before he's done.

Anyone who saw Slater last year knows he is still is if not one of the top gunners in the league. He still has plenty left in the tank.

There is no question he has not been healthy these past two years and perhaps his body is breaking down.

Based on what his contract looks like and his age next year (33) I would suspect this is his last year with the team.

Webb signed to the JETE practice squad/ per PFT

Why was it different?

Yeah, I thought he'd retire at the end of 2017. Oops.

Gruden is still afraid of Slater splitting out wide. Hope we get a chance to play Oakland in the playoffs.
