You're losing credibility with me if you're really going to read this much animosity into a guy trying to do a roster projection. His wording there could have been poorly-chosen or could have been used because the whole thing is just a game of predict the future.

He didn't report it as news, so it wasn't 'presented as fact' at all.

Are you guys just like, unable to differentiate between opinion and/or speculation and actual reporting?

FWIW, my distaste for Hannable has nothing to do with those tweets. His work is just notably subpar. Or, at least, it was a year or two ago when I stopped reading it.

Michel will be a key cog in the backfield. Maybe saving him, and getting him healthy on the IR designated to return wouldn't be such a bad thing. Give him a shortened rook season, and insert him when needed most. It'd be a "whole new wrinkle" teams aren't prepared for.

Well, "WHEN I break in and rob your house" I'm taking everything that isn't tied down.

Of course I meant IF I break in, since I don't know where you live and I'm not a burglar.

But that would be devestating to my fantasy team!

I'm really glad that we were able to keep crossen and j.c. Jackson. If we get ourselves a decent no 2 or 3 receiver through trade I'll have a little more confidence in the offense getting out the gates

Withholding practice time from a rookie isn't a recipe for success, particularly if your aim is to unleash him on the rest of the league in December. NE will rightly invest the roster spot in Michel even if he takes time to grow into a leading role.

RB is the easiest position for rookies to excel. I like it. Even with "missed practice time".

That it is the easiest doesn't make it an ideal decision.

I’m confused about IR. I thought someone here said a couple of days ago that the rules had changed and that you no longer had to make the final 53 before being put on IR to be potentially eligible to return.

But Yates said Sam, etc. seasons are over because they were IRd without making the final 53. Which is it?
