Depends on how you feel about Decker in general. I believe he's not very good, so I take it as a good sign that the Patriots are confident that we have four other guys better than him. If that wasn't the case, then I would be worried.
We just signed him a couple weeks ago, it takes time to get integrated. I'm fine with him getting these reps in the preseason; as long as he shows progress and promise who cares if he gets a false start in the preseason? And if he doesn't show it in practice then yeah, cut him
