You have to realize that Brady would make his numbers even better

Probably not. Dez won’t be the featured receiver in our offense like he was in dallas.

Dez said the Dallas offense was elementary school a motivated Dez isnt the worst signing you could make.

I guess we now have to cut someone for a player (Henry Poggi), who has ZERO potential. Strange signing. More of a FB instead of a TE.

The guy is an intense player, I’ll give him that.
We signed the porg?

Anyone know what a typical timetable would potentially be for an injury such as Matthews?

At least it happened a good 6 weeks before the opener.

Slater had a "significant" hammy injury that kept him out of most of Camp and on the inactive list for the first four weeks of the season. He wasn't taken off the Injury Report until week-7, but then was out with the hammy again during weeks 11-13 and didn't come off the Injury Report until the playoffs.

Kontra is correct. This is likely to bother Matthews all season.

Severity grade is uncertain, but I don't see him on the final 53.

good to see Burkhead again in the mix here

I really need news on Sony Michel so I can trade him to an unsuspecting team in fantasy before the news really breaks out

Patriots released Jordan Matthews.

It's CAMP. Not every guy the Pats sign for a Camp-body role is going to have significant potential to make the roster, nor to they need to.

Poggi was a traditional lead-blocking FB at Michigan. Since Wimann went to IR, Develin is the only other guy in Camp with that type of experience, and they have a lot of RBs taking a lot of reps with a couple-three different OL combos. Poggi was signed to take some of the load off Develin so he doesn't wear out before the start of the season.

According to Jim McBride of the Globe. Only source out there so far but devastating imo.
I just saw the tweet. How do you release a player who just got injured? Lol.

Injury settlement most likely. It gives him a chance to potentially catch on with another team if he recovers in time. I also wouldn't rule out a return in the future if he progresses well in his rehab and recovery. They seemed to like the player all right.
