I am glad that Germany’s out. They haven’t looked good all tournament. Brazil needs to be careful against Serbia. Serbia will be desperate. They need an early goal in that match.

Wow all Germany had to do was score 1 goal in the last ten minutes and instead they collapsed and Mexico luckily advances

To be honest i thought mexico deserved it over Germany. They played like crap against Sweden but Germany has looked awful in all of their 3 matches.

I was actually afraid of a surprise Serbia victory in this match, but after Germany's exit (and Mexico's performance, to a lesser extent), i think we are going in completely focused.

Agree. Germany hasn't finished lower than 3rd since 1998. When they get knocked out early something goofy is really going on.

I was just thinking, after seeing the latest guy rolling around writhing in agony on the field in the WC after barely being touched, what it would be like if players did that in American football...

How do you feel about portugal vs Uruguay? If CR7 had made that penalty. I think they got a good chance but they have to play 90 minutes. Need CR7 to show up big time. He’s carrying a yellow as well. I feel yellow cards should be wiped out after the round of 16 and not the quarterfinals.

Well, the one day I decide to watch ended up being the most entertaining one in a week at least! Unfortunately Mexico had some sort of a meltdown and I can't believe things went sour that fast! BUT, how about South Korea - with NO chance of making it into the brackets - playing spoiler and taking Germany down with em?? Loooool - I think POL:SEN & SEN:JAP were my favourite moments of the tournament so far but this one gets a high spot in my book. You get tired of those mouthy SOBs after a while. So happy to see them eliminated at group stage!

So , this WC has seen the most European teams pass the group stage since the 2010 world cup; thanks to VAR. FIFA surely happy they were able to find a way support their own kind. European champion incoming....

After the quarterfinals they’re wiped out i believe. So let’s say Ronaldo gets a yellow in the Uruguay game and they win he won’t play in the next game and could you imagine if it’s argentina? Who doesn’t wanna see Ronaldo vs Messi in the QFs

I was getting burned out watching all the games even @ 1.4x speed on youtube TV.

But for some reason, despite being like 1/2 German, I ****ing hate that team so I made sure to watch that one. What a fantastic ending, so fun if you were rooting for the underdogs.

If it has to be European, the only one I think would be entertaining to see is Russia. Lol - Then I can see all the European fans cry "foul!" on this tournament saying it was rigged, as if it wasn't rigged for their countries already. Besides, would be Ironic to hear it from an Englishman given England won their only WC in England. France did it the same way. Lol

I think Mexico can beat Brasil. I know they didn't look their best but the great thing about a loss is that it can show you what you're doing wrong and cause you to react on that and make corrections. I think they can at the very least take it to ET against Brasil. I believe in them.
