Yep. The dood works in the world of perceptions, and yet he some how doesn't know or care that he's trashed his reputation by continuously pushing this "he said, she said" high school level narrative.

I heard his reporting on the recent interview and all he did was focus on the "taking the fifth" line and ignore EVERYTHING else TB12 had to say.

No need to apologize.

The BS (Boston Sports) media have become nothing but a bunch of ass clowns.

The only way to change things is to STOP PAYING ATTENTION to them.

The only exposure I get to Curran is via the daily NBC Sports Boston podcast, and more often than not these days I end up skipping over any segment that has Curran in it because he just keeps pushing this narrative, despite the fact that TB12 and Gronk both say they're going to be playing in the fall.

Taking the fifth is a pretty standard joke. Imagine if Curran was asked if he felt appreciated by his boss?

speaking of whom...caught a little of the mid day show on EEI...Ordway is still a fat, bloated little pufferfish but what the hell is wrong with Fauria? He's way off the rails to the point that I can't listen to another second of his bad impressions and bigoted non sequiturs...what happened to SPORTS radio?

Yup! When I download them Live I think i'm listening to WFAN here in NY instead but I can't even say that, Pats have been getting unbiased talk on FAN. Sometimes I think Joe Benigno is a closet Pats fan always gives Pats their due and love to BB going back to when BB was coaching in NY and BB would listen to him when he did overnight talk show.

It's interesting you say that. Occasionally, I tune in to WFAN online after the Pats, Red Sox or Celtics beat a NY team just out of perverted curiosity and more often than not, I find what you've written to be the case. Last Friday in the early morning I was flipping channels and came across Esiason's show and the subject was Goodell. Boomer was defending Goodell and the other guy, Gio, took exception. Gio blasted Goodell for DG, called it a witch hunt. Boom Boom proceeded to defend Goodell, the Colts and the Ravens. I wanted to puke.

That's ludicrous. Unless he committed a felony or whateva you play the guy. He's out of your life after the season. He wasn't coming back.

I find the idea that anything goes because one guy is "out of your life forever" a really stupid way to manage a franchise. There are now and always will be consequences for your actions. You may not like that, but none the less it is true.

It's ridiculous considering it's the super bowl. Again he's a free agent off course it make sense. If he was in contract for next season than you suspend him a game next season.

Oh yeah, that'll teach 'em! LOL...

The weirdest thing about the take on the interview is the fact that "unappreciated" became the headline vs "still wants to play to his mid 40's". For Pats fans that is really all that matters. The GOAT re-confirmed that he plans to play for multiple years. Baring a major injury the Pats are Super Bowl contenders for the next several years. The fact that he may feel unappreciated and/or that there is likely some sort of rift between him and BB is basically meaningless. As long as he is playing and BB is coaching why would we care if they have some disagreements?

Shut yo' mouth,doc.
How dare you inject some common sense into the hysteria?

Here's the thing, it does not make sense to allow behavior detrimental to a team because if you ignore the one guy doing it, there are 52 other guys that will see and remember it. And you will have less chance next time of stopping similar behavior.

In you mind anything is worth winning, and I am sure BB thought they would still win. But they didn't, so you can ignore whatever Butler did as marginal and not his fault, and blame the whole thing on BB. But that punishment was for something, and not just a bit of whimsy on the coaches part.

I Hear Ya! Then you see/hear interviews like this:

TB12 is GOAT BB is GOAT because of each other.

Oh plz. I think everyone wants to know why butler didn't play that game. The players have defended butler and have love for the guy. He's a good teammate. The guy won you a super bowl for christ's sake. To not see him in his final game in a pats jersey was awful.
