Keep digging in the twitter timelines from 1-2 months ago and you will see beat guys having quotes and articles of players saying that Butler didn't play well and it was not surprising that his role got minimized.
And yes it has been discussed dozens of times. Just because you might not have been there doesn't give you any respite.
I actually DID feel bad for him during framegate because it was an injustice. I don't believe the man is immune to challenges and struggles in life, nor do I dispute the fact he earned all that he has. I just don't think it serves anyone for him to publicly complain about feeling underappreciated.I’m sure you felt bad for him during deflategate.
I’m getting your point, but it’s not as if the man can’t have struggles just because of his success. He earned all of those things you listed above for a damn good reason.
I guess it is time to hire a guy to run around the sideline and let the receivers know not to jump into the faces of other players. Or the long snapper to properly secure the ball. Or a ST standout player to wrap up properly. Or the QB to throw the ball to the open guy who will get a first down instead of waiting for the intermediate route to develop. I mean how could professionals that have been playing this at that level for many years possibly know any of that ? Right ?
Those are fundamental mistakes that have nothing to do with what player is on the field and what the situation is. But sure lets absolve the players who ****ed
up the most basic things and put all blame on the coaches.
Are you ****ing ******ed ? Did you hit your head hard on something ? Seriously do you have issues with comprehending the English language ?
I have been saying for months that the gameplan was not good. Even in the post you are quoting.
Who cares ? Does it make any difference if it is 20:80, 40:60 or 50:50 ?
You could have had the best gameplan of all time and if your players play like they did you might still end up empty handed.
The reality is that the situation is considerably more nuanced than "the game was lost before it began". But keep talking yourself even deeper into a hole.

Game's over. We lost. There is no changing it. The only thing we can do is win the next one. It's on to 2018.
the issue is 2018 is now a powderkeg. if you thought things were tough last year with all the drama, now take that and add in the fact that there are some players who feel like BB let his pride cost them a superbowl.
Players like Gronk are publically talking about maybe not wanting to play anymore.
Amendola, the guy who took pay cut after pay cut after pay cut, suddenly bounces and **** talks BB in the press.
Brady went from I'm going to play till i'm not good any more to "i'm not enjoying it as much as i used too" He's had time to calm down and is recommitted, but how long till BB does something to rub him the wrong way before TB12 decides hes kind of over it?
This isn't the same as when BB cut Milloy and the whole "the patriots hate their coach" drama. This is actual dysfunction at the top tier players who sacrifice to stay with the patriots, only to see the coach not put the best players on the field.
You are missing the entire point I was trying to make. I am not blaming Brady for the loss but I am pointing out that everyone screwed up. And if you want to blame the lineman for giving up the pressure that led to the strip sack then you have to blame Brady for not throwing the ball to White who was open underneath for about 2 seconds ready to get another first down.
You will find fault at all levels for why the game was lost. Anyone blaming only the defense or coaching is just scapegoating.
hearing people like you and tommybrady12 say things like "Butler was caught with weed" "Butler is an achololic" and "players said hes at fault" and then asking for you to back up your claim, and then never backing up your claim. IMO don't count as discussions.

Another goddam Butler thread.
I have not once said anything like that or implied it was disciplinary. The fact that you put me into a bin with those loonies just shows you have not really participated in the discussion at all.
The reality is that Butler played a pretty bad overall season and then got benched at the end. Whether it was correct not to sub him in after halftime to try a couple things is a different story. But if you miss some of the prep week with a illness and then are **** in practice leading up to the SB you can't be surprised if you are not starting.
Not really. It's actually pretty black and white. You're unsuccessfully trying to introduce shades of grey that don't argue away my central point while, at the same time, establishing my point as the correct one.
Again provide a source. ONE SINGLE SOURCE with a reason for why butler got ZERO snaps in the Superbowl where the defensive couldn't get a third down stop. JUST ONE. please ONE its all i ask.
Told you where to search. I will not waste my own time just because you are too lazy to do research yourself.
It's funny how you all give that same exact response.
I did do research, I provided you with three sources from team captains all who say butler didn't do anything wrong, Liked posts that said butler should have played, or openly stated that Butler should have been on the field.
I'm guess you drink your own koolaid though.
