All of them

Except McDaniels. Come to that, I liked Matt Patricia, but other non-player Matts always screwed us. Matthew Slater was, like Patricia, a good Matt. This run on Joshes just confuses me. Br(e)nd(o/e/I)n is a position I understand, the Josh position is just too new for me.

Doesn’t look like our D line got any better. Another year where our D isn’t ready for prime time. Another year of TB wasted

Used to be you had to wait until the first incomplete pass of the first game of the season for irrational pronouncements of doom but now we're getting them on day two of the draft. Just gets earlier every year.

Clayborn and Shelton absolutely make the run defense better. Vincent Valentine should also help. People want to talk about the pass rush but the run defense was a big reason we lost the Super Bowl.

I think people have pro forma complaints that they post in draft day threads. I mean, maybe wait until we see one snap from these draftees before writing them off.

The D will be better this year regardless of who we pick. We brought in Shelton to improve the run D, and Rivers and Hightower are coming back to help the front 7.

I mentioned earlier that there were very few players we could have picked today who could have improved on what we already have. Obviously people here hate to hear that but its true.

The star/slot corner was probably one of the few positions that we could upgrade. No rookie DE was going to come in and displace Flowers/Clayborn, and we have Rivers/Wise as depth. There wasn't a LB available in the 2nd who was going to beat out Hightower or Van Noy.

Any players being picked now are simply depth or as developments.

The Patriots stole one of the best pass rushers in last year's draft with their 3rd round pick last year, just a complete terror off the edge with an insane athletic profile, and people seem to have completely forgotten about him because he got hurt.

Butler watching from the sideline cost us a ring

yawn ... depth my son. your coach decided to bench butler. maybe because Jonathan jones outplayed him in the divisional or maybe because he played like crap against the jags. you tell me. but for whatever reason the Pats win if jones didn't go down.

This draft gets a D- at best. To have 5 picks in the top 95, and only come out with 3. Is terrible asset management. There is no sugarcoating it. To come out of THIS draft, one of the deepest QB drafts in the last 20 years without an heir apparent for Brady , especially with so much draft capital up high, is an epic fail. To NOT get a top notch pass rusher or linebacker with so much draft capital up high, is an epic fail. There is no getting around this, it’s a failure.

To see the Steelers walk away Roethlisburger’s heir apparent when we could’ve picked the same guy at 43, or 51 or 63, is an epic fail, and infuriating as a fan of the Patriots.

Belichick gets a lot of credit for the greatness of this organization the last 17 years, and deservedly so, but plain and simple, his drafting has been **** for years. He does better with UDFAs a lot of the times, which is bizarre. But I don’t care who they pick in rounds 4-7 (if they indeed actually make some picks instead of resting on their laurels), this draft has been a disaster, which honestly, is par for the course.

People get attached to names and then get mad when a name gets called instead of the name they like. I get it. It's part of the entertainment.

I've stopped doing that though. You can only take so many guys, and other teams get to pick too. Much more interested in looking at the strengths and weaknesses of the players they pick and looking for the logic behind them rather than writing off a pick because it wasn't Player X who will very likely end up being just another guy anyhow. It became clear to me when you'd look over the free agent pool every year and see all these Player Xs you really liked a few years before and they were just mediocrities and disappointments in the end, because that's most players who get drafted.

Did they not add Danny Shelton? Are Hightower and Rivers not coming back from ir? Relax.

O-one gets more attached to names as much as me, but as you say, there are 31 other teams picking.

Oakland having a very risky draft

Kolton Miller
PJ Hall
Brandon Parker
Arden Key

It could work out but I don’t think any of those picks are a lock to become successful starters.

Put down the drugs

Oh yeah, that pro bowler all pro Danny Shelton. Stole him from the Browns, what a steal getting a 3 year bust. You know you had an awful draft when the Cleveland Browns draft better than you.
