Apparently Derrius Guice didn't even show up for day 2 of the draft. He could fall a long way.

Not sure he was a great fit for us anyway. Mainly a zone guy.

Because there's quality players on the board right now we can use that won't be there in the 4th and we're going to miss out on some real quality in these 8 picks. A lot fell the right way for us to still get a very strong defensive player at the spot we were at. That's a big fall.

There will still be good players at 51 and we get another player in the mid 4th, who could also be good. 8 spots is not a big fall.....

Especially since DET didn't take a defender there. Imagine if they took a LB or DL who turned into something great?

That would be frustrating, but I think it would ultimately depend on who the Pats got with the trade in total value and what those players turned into

A little PFT gossip about Guice while we wait for #51

LSU running back Derrius Guice has stayed away.

PFT’s Charean Williams passes along word that Guice’s absence was announced at the draft. It’s unknown whether his departure has any connection to rumors that TMZ is holding a story about Guice, to be posted after Guice is picked. TMZ has denied that it has any such story.
