My dream draft would have players like
Rosen/Allen/Jackson 1 from this group
Lan
I’m hoping Allen goes to Jetes.
Jets will be all over Baker Mayfield then Belichick will draft the longest dine linebackerss and tell them keep your arms up block those throwing lanes.

Not if Mayfield goes to Cleveland at 1...

Cleveland - Mayfield

Giants - Darnold

Jetes - Allen

My mock draft top 6

1 Josh Allen- Cleveland
2 NY Giants- Could trade the pick if they get good value in return. They draft Darnold if they stay put.
3 New York Jests-Baker Mayfield
4 Cleveland Browns- Could trade the pick but if they don't Saquaon Barkley
5 Denver Broncos- Quenton Nelson.
6 Indianapolis Colts- I really could see Chubb falling to the dolts.

I think the giants, browns, donkeys and even the dolts could trade their pick.

A few random draft thought
  • since there is no consensus #1 pick this year, the Pats should not overpay if they want to trade up to #1. Offer the browns a package at a discount to the trade chart and call their bluff
  • I don't see the Pats drafting a WR. They signed Matthews and traded for Patterson for a reason. Patterson is this year "drafted" WR. Would be difficult for a late round WR to make the roster.
  • I would expect the Pats to draft a TE early, say by pick 43.
  • this will turn out to be one of the most unpredictable drafts in recent memory, both for the Pats and the draft overall.
  • Edit - add one other, with a deep, veteran roster, I would not be surprised if BB traded one (or more) of the top four picks into next year when Pats have 35 UFAs

Honestly this is great news for Darnold if he ends up on the Giants.

Mayfield at #1 overall? Or are they still dumb enough to take Allen?

If Cleveland takes Mayfield @ 1 I'd really begin to feel sorry for them. Manziel AND Manziel 2.0 taken by the same team high in the 1st within a few years of each other. No team except the Jets deserves that much disfortune.

Maybe he don't throw the controlleri

I wouldn't say it be difficult
Mitchell has been injured
Patterson is getting a fresh start
Matthews is coming in fresh after injury and worst season of his young career.
Britt is a guy looking to prove himself at this place.

I'm leaning toward Evans too.....as for the other 3, all 3 may be available at 1/31 but be gone by 2/11

the guy I would love to slip to us is Daron Payne........I think he's going to wind up being a bigger badder Aaron Donald

Donald? Check out P.J. Hall. This kid is extraordinary.6-0 1/2, 308, ran 40 in 4.83/4.71 seconds (some scouts at 4.6), had 38 Verticle, 9"-"8 BJump, 36 lifts
  • 284 tackles
  • 86.5 tackles for loss
  • 42 sacks
  • 9 forced fumbles
  • 4 interceptions (he’s a down lineman!)
  • 14 blocked kicks (!) (!!) (!!!)
Has a 700-pound squat to his name.
He's my pick @#95

I think mayfield's a lot better than manziel. The browns always wreck careers especially at QB.

I think hubbard/landry/carter will be available in round 2. I think at 23 we are borderline in position to draft evans or van der esche. I am a little worried about Van Der Esche’s neck though. If had I had to take one, I’d take Evans. Of course, I’d be very happy if BB traded up for Trumaine Edwards or Smith.

I wouldn't count on Hubbard or Landry falling into the 2nd, and I'm not sure that Landry make it to #23, though Evans might. I definitely don't think BB would trade up for Edmunds or Smith, especially if Evans seems likely to make it to #23. Evans at #23 + Carter at #43, or Hubbard at #31 + Carter at #43 would seem to represent more value to the team than sacrificing one of those to move up for one guy.

Looks like a young James Harrison. BB has to like those 14 blocked kicks.

I've never seen so many one-handed tackles in my life. Amazing strong hands.
Also, if he's 300-lbs than the guy next to him is 4 bills, easy. Loved a few plays: "taking" the ball away from a runner and chasing down one guy 40 or so yards down the field. Not quite Ben Watson-esque but damn close. Interesting prospect from a small school.

Sounds like you haven't actually done much research on Mayfield.
