I’m sure they knew his wonderlic score going into today’s Louisville Pro Day. Caserio is there for a reason and that is they are generally interested in him. Whether or not that translates into the Pats drafting him is a different story...

If the Pats draft a QB early (Rounds 1-2), it will make the trade of Jimmy G last year that much more infuriating. I don't want to see "They couldn't pay him" or ".....because of salary cap" nonsense. It was reported numerous times they were prepared to pay him to stay with the team and for good reason. They also could've franchised him to see how Brady does in 2018-19. Sorry, you don't let a player like that go for just a measly 2nd round pick and then take another QB with that pick. If the Pats do draft a QB early it could mean a few things:

1. BB plans to coach after Brady retires.
2. Brady wasn't the one that wanted Jimmy G gone.
3. Jimmy G was actually the one that wanted out.
4. I throw my remote at the TV.

For some teams, it helps for leaders of the various units to be relatively smart. IMHO, the defensive signal caller should be, as well as the LT.

IDK. On the bottom you have Derek Carr, who seems pretty good at running an offense. At the other end, you have Gabbert, who may need help running a pencil sharpener.

It's certainly not a good sign, and I'm sure teams will look at it very carefully.

See the attached for Wonderlic by position. I note that QB's and OL's need to do well (including TE's).

As an aside, Bradshaw had a Wonderlic of 15. McNabb had a similar score.

WR's and RB's are much lower.

BTW Brady (33) and Manziel (32) have about the same score.

RB Gore scored a 6.

Ben Watson scored a 48. I guess he's been smart enough to learn lots of offenses. He just got signed again yesterday.

I have no idea what BB's opinion was/is. Personally, I felt that Brissett might be better-suited for a different offensive scheme. I mean, a different, but good one (not THUD's). Reich and Sirianni could be much better for Brissett.
