Miami releasing Suh - Patriots?

I’m just speaking from personal opinion, but I would think adding Suh (along with Shelton) would really help with interior pressure and make things easier for Flowers and the other edge rushers. However, he’s definitely got attitude problems. If it were up to me, I’m not sure I would sign him due to the attitude, and especially so if he is very expensive. That said, if Belichick thinks he will fit in then I will trust him on that decision and welcome Suh’s talent.

Miami’s defense looked fair. Don’t know what part was he responsible for.

I'll take Suh, Trent Murphy, Darby, whomever - if they'll help the team and if the money is right.

I think the Pats going without an official DC is a hint that BB wants to make this defense HIS.

Back to a 3/4 (really a 5/2).

Shelton/Valentine flanked by Brown and Guy + Big upgrade (Suh is the only one I see available at the moment, but I hold the same reservations as Andy).
Yeah the 3-4/5-2 is what feels like the goal at the moment. Shelton can be that NT, and perhaps Valentine can. Suh certainly can.

If Suh was on the team in the Super Bowl we would have generated enough pressure to make a difference when it came to Foles. You can hate Suh’s attitude but he would have a positive impact on the team

So, basically, if we had better players we would've played better? Why is that specific to Suh?

We have turn rejects into stars in the past, especially for dolphins players, but i can't stomach Suh..

That's what they said about Moss before we got him too. The Patriot Way does not mean previous malcontents or bad boys cannot conform or change for the better.

The hall mark of this dynasty has been our ability to adapt, and dealing with absolutes limits potential.
No one with suh’s on field attitude and issues has been brought in other than Haynesworth.

If suh was in the team we probably don’t get to the Sb.

In his 3 years their average ranking was 22 in yards 23 in points. Not good.

The question is will you shut up if we don't?
I’m not the one criticizing Suh & crying like a b**ch. If we don’t sign him, we don’t sign him. I’m not emotional Jack...ass.

You have the absolute worst opinions
I would expect t that coming from you. Most people who lack intelligence view intelligent opinions as bad.

Rodney Harrison is one of the most flagged players in NFL history, may still be the leader in personal fouls in the new millennium, and is widely considered one of the dirtiest players in NFL history.

You don’t say intelligent things. You make basic strawman arguments with very puppy context and then argue with a dogmatic fervor over your hypothesis.

Argument 1: Suh is an undisciplined problem.

Evidence: he’s never been part of a good defense

Proof that he’s the specific variable that causes his defenses being bad? Nothing

Doesn’t count.... reasons

I don’t think you understand what a straw man is.
Argument 1: Suh is an undisciplined problem.
This is true.

Evidence: he’s never been part of a good defense
This is also true, except for 1 if his 8 seasons, however the fact that It was offered as evidence of his lack of discipline is the straw man in this discussion. Ie I never said that and you are arguing as if I did (that’s what a straw man is fyi)

Proof that he’s the specific variable that causes his defenses being bad? Nothing
Why would I give proof of a causation that I never suggested?

I like mean players....it's football and it's all about moving bodies out of the way...Suh fits the bill. All we have to do is tell him to NOT stomp on players after the snap.

The quote, "He's an ***hole, but he's OUR a-hole" comes to mind when talking about these types of players....
