Bridgewater also signs with the Jets. It’ll be hilarious if they pass on a QB again, or if a rookie chafes at being stuck behind two vets.

What a shame for Teddy to have his career dealt such a calamitous blow. Also, his knee got torn up real bad a few years ago.

"Bilgewater." PERFECT! McClown, Bilgewater, Quackenbush, Pity, and incoming rookie savior TBA. Looks like former rookie saviors Quack and Pity are on the outs -- perhaps they'll now sign elsewhere, get real coaching and become pros.

The Bilgewater and McClown tandem reminds me of when they had Gee-No! Smith and Dogkiller Vick. Another iteration of the Jete brass QB philosophy, "We don't like either of you, you're only temporary, so we'll have the two of you battle it out 'cuz competition is ... uh ... good?" Same with the failed tenures of Pity and Quack. Built for suckage!

The Jete are stocking up on the D side of the ball, just as they have for years, but how's that playing out?

The team can't put up points, so the best D in the world means nothing, and all their high draft picks end up playing on other teams.

They have got huge amounts of cap room ( as pant-load @JeteFan69 loves to point out ) but what does it matter if no good FAs will take their money because it means playing on a shyte team for a shyte organization?
