Titans kidnapping Dion Lewis

It better be one hell of a defense. After Solder's replacement gets Brady injured,
we'll be scoring 10 points a game.

No faith in Edelman to run the triple option?

I’m guessing he’s talking about cap room. Lewis won’t affect Tennessee’s situation as much.

That would be a ridiculous argument though. Using that logic, they shouldn't be signing anyone.

It Shows that we’re not investing close to 10 mil per season at rb. And we’re waiting on solder.

That may be, but that's not the logic you (and he) asserted. That's just a plain statement.

Therefore there's 40m reasons why the logic is unassailable, As in the difference of the team's available cap space.

You're not actually asserting logic. You're just spouting off a number as if it has logical meaning, in an instance where it doesn't.

We will be fine, we still have Gillislee. If that doesn't work out maybe we can get Maroney or Ridley to come back. I wonder what Cedrick Shaw is up to?

The logic I asserted with those numbers is a simple statement of fact. TN can afford risk more comfortably than NE ATM. Which the numbers make readily apparent. If we are at the fights betting the undercards and I have $57k & you have $17k, I can absorb a $5k loss more readily than you can while still preserving my nut for a go at the main event.

The logic that we weren’t in a position to pay both Lewis and white while Tennessee is only paying Henry under his rookie deal?

Honestly this one hurts for me. Dion was one of my favorite players and my son too. Watching him break ankles every week was such a treat, haven't seen many guys in all my years of watching football who could change direction as violently as he did. Probably caused some wear and tear but when healthy he was deadly from anywhere on the field.

So this past month and half has been one punch in the nuts after another football wise and it's getting worse by the minute.

Good luck to Dion, he needed to get that big contract as it could be his last given his age and position.

Sucks having to explain to your kid why his favorite players leave all the time.

Really need to scout backs in this draft especially if Burkhead leaves.

Yes sir, I agree. I can’t figure out why we couldn’t pay him five mill? I’ll miss him as he was entertaining to watch and just burned defenses all year.

It’s Cedric Cobbs but point taken.

Edit. Boy do I feel foolish forgetting we did have a Sedrick Shaw back in the day. My apologies

Again, you're confusing numbers with logic. They are not the same thing.

OK, at this point, this has to be a tag team troll job, because you two can't possibly be this willfully obtuse without planning ahead for it. This was the claim:

Depends on the guarantees, we're talking about a player that's played 30 games in the past 5 years after all. I love the guy...when he is on the field. TN can afford the risk, NE can't.

Cap space in March has literally ZERO to do with whether or not they can afford to take a risk of having an injury guy on the field come the start of the season.
