Gilmore was out there for every snap and had a really good game, and was generally great overall once he returned from his concussion this year.

Health permitting, that's the best group in the NFL. It won't mean a thing, though, if the quarterback can take a dump in the pocket and walk to the closet to get more toilet paper before unloading the ball. Or if the LBs or Richards are trailing their man by a few a steps underneath.

Didn't Talib get a Boat load Upfront from Denver when he signed that contract?? He has certainly played up to it can't see Elway letting that type of talent go.

Give me Sherman over Talib. The last time Talib played a game here, the camera panned to him and Dennard on the sideline and it looked like Dennard was pleading with him to come in to the game. He also left the AFCCG with a bruised hip the year before and didn’t come back. It seemed, at least to me, like he was more concerned with preserving his body for the upcoming big payday than he was with helping his team when they needed the most. Sherman, when healthy, has been the better corner and it seems like all he wants to do is win. If his health checks out and the price is right, this is a no-brainer.

Sometimes these Guys are not the same after those injuries and it take Two years to get fully back... Sorry Talib 24/7 over Sherman even after what Talib did when he was here.

he benched arrington because he was getting smoked during that particular game. and butler being worst patriots CB this year (an arguable point) has nothing to do with Arrington

Sherman is a proven sideline crier. BB clearly values that in a CB.

Arrington kept getting roasted during the game, and his replacement made the game winning interception.

IF Sherman is healthy adding him to the secondary opposite Gilmore would be a huge upgrade for us defensively. And since he is recovering from an injury, and presumably will be cut by the Seahawks, we might be able to get him at a discount rate or use a largely incentive based contract that pays Sherman big only if he comes up big.
