Maybe this entire cluster**** will make the NFL rethink the entire hiring process and its stipulations a bit. If you allow playoff coaches to interview during the postseason maybe you can also allow for them to sign legally binding documents so both the coach and the organization has clarity and doesnt have to do this stupid dance until a team is out of the playoffs or wins the SB.

No offense, but I've always kind of despised real estate agents, if only because I feel like they demand way too high a rate for the skill and work involved. And I guess I find it a bit ridiculous they drive around in 6 year old Range Rovers wearing a suit. I always thought the only easier way to wear a suit to work was to sell cell phones at the mall.

No offense, but to me you sound like someone who has no idea what they are talking about. If you despise how I support my wife and sons, that sounds like more of a you problem than a me problem.

While reading the news about this McDaniels drama I stumbled upon some hints of his relation to the Denver Broncos not being good. Please give me a heads up: McDaniels was head coach in Denver and despite not winning enough games something happend. What was it the Broncos are angry about?

Some weird issue about a tape.

"Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has indicated to potential assistants to wait for him."

Why didn't they wait for him to sign? They were warned.

The Colts knew that McDaniels was not signed and yet they asked the assistants to sign anyway.

Now the Colts are playing dumb about it and acting like they are Mother Teresa or something. They even have Saint Dung-heap chiming in.

The Colts:
Poor pitiful us! How could we have known that a coach who would not sign with us on Monday, a coach that let us know that he had reservations days before that, would decide to stay with his current employer on Tuesday? Oh the horrors! We wuz robbed! Goodell!! Mommy!!! Not FAAAAIIIIIIRRRRR!

This was a ****ty thing to do by Josh. However this is the colts and the only team I'd be ok with someone from our team screwing like this. I do totally respect McDaniels agent parting ways with him.

I honestly don't think Andrew Lucks health is getting enough interest/run in all of this. Doesn't anyone find it strange that the Colts wouldn't put video footage out of Luck throwing the ball around? To like squash any rumours of botched surgery? Watson has resumed running, Wentz is throwing light and maxing out to 50 yard throws. What's Luck doing? Zilch/nothing. If they are so quick to put a presser out there for losing out on a coach, why can't they get the doctor out there to answer a few questions regarding the surgery/recovery?

Luck has not yet began throwing footballs, but is continuing his rehabilitation process in Indianapolis, building strength through throwing exercises (tossing lighter balls) and increasing his arm speed.

Ballard discussed his recovery in general terms yesterday, after his whine-fest over Josh.

Andrew Luck's going to prove a lot of people wrong, Chris Ballard says

Prospective employers and employees do this type of stuff everyday. Luckily he didn't sign on and then changed his mind later. That would be a huge waste of time and money for both sides. Nothing is worse than accepting a job you are not passionate about.

Billy Donovan
Bill Parcells
Bill Belichick
Dave McGinnis
Rich Rodriguez
Lane Kiffin
Jim Grobe
Dana Altman
Chris Beard

A coach who hasn't put the pen to paper yet would NEVER change their mind, right? It's never happened before, right? The Dolts had no idea that this sort of thing could ever happen, right?

Oh the humanity!

Josh McDaniels effectively resigned as the HC of the IndyC

Awesome!
Josh must have known what he was getting himself into when he interviewed.

As for Ballard, he had a chance to do and say the right thing and show some class...the problem is, he doesn't have any. The greatest coach doesn't come along every day, and Josh was ready to clean out his office. Obviously, it would have taken something extraordinary, unusual and unexpected for him to back out, and it did.

First of all, the rivalry between the Patriots and Colts has been "on" since the Nixon administration, generations before you were born, moron.

Second, any exacerbation of it is entirely on you, for your complicity with Harbaugh and the NFL in ball deflation nonsense.

Third, what is it with loser organizations like this? You want to have somebody coaching your team who does not want to be there? Amazing how the majority of people in personnel positions are the very last ones who should be.

Except it's the Patriots.

Normalcy does not apply; when it comes to the Patriots, it's the Patriots who are always wrong and to blame.

Opposing teams, players, coaches, fans, local and national media, and the league are all morons. They really are.

Add Red Auerbach to the list

Ballard did a hell of a job in his press conference. Maybe you saw a deceptively edited version.

Take off the blinders.

They need a 2018 pre-scuse banner:

"Defeated by Offensive Coordinator of AFC Champion"

"The rivalry is back on!"

Patriots last 7 games v. Colts:

7-0

Patriots all-time record v. Colts:

51-29-0

Sorry, Colts fans, but the nail is not the hammer's rival.
