couldn't agree more. Game is done....looking at the highlights we were so close but it is over, the game is done, finished. Philly won, our defense played brutal....game is over.
Yet again we got to follow our team to the end.
One thing that often doesn't get mentioned, or maybe noticed, is the reason I think Brady and his family are so disappointed (but of course the media spins it as a spoiled rich athlete) is because they would like a return on investment...a validation for all the hard work he has put it. Winning it all is that validation.
Brady invests so much of his life into getting better in every possible way that could help him on the field and when he falls short those that know him, family and friends, feel bad for him cause they know the sacrifices he gives and the things he misses out on. Yet people perceive that to be spoiled either because of how many SB's he already has, or because of his affluent lifestyle (that he earned).
He has been so great for this team for so long. We are truly lucky to have him, and to be able to enjoy watching him for a couple more seasons at least...
